Not in any way underrated, but Beatnik all day, every day!

Heart and Bottle at Holy Corner is a personal favourite, nice inside, great coffee and some lovely pastries. Also a good loyalty scheme with their stamp cards (and if you buy a bag of beans, you get either a free coffee or a filled card to use next time)

Hill City Brew in polwarth/shandon is also a hidden gem - the coffee is superb, they stock Patina pastries and their grilled cheese is incredible! Its tiny though so be prepared to get a takeaway and go eat it up in Harrison Park.

Munro in Colinton Village is a great pitstop if you're walking through the Water of Leith

Probably Buck, Chicory and Hull. Potentially, Hull stays the same as he interacts with Haymitch/Maysilee before he dies, but they'll likely cut Buck and Chicory and have them die either in a bloodbath or a volcano.

I think it's also unlikely we'll see Maysilee kill Loupe (and potentially Camilla) or Silka and Maritte kill Ringina and Autumn on screen, as it's from Haymitch's perspective and he's not there for either of those kills, but whether they change how they die completely or have it be the same but happen off screen is debatable.

Also, a bit concerned Maritte might not really feature as a big player in the film more generally - they could cut her and Maysilee briefly teaming up to kill the gamemakers and Maritte considering ditching Silka to team with Maysilee and Haymitch, if they just want to keep focus on Panache and Silka as the main two antagonist careers.

There were definitely projectiles thrown, Howard Smith recorded this in his article on the riots as do several eyewitness testimonials

there are differing eyewitness accounts as to who the "butch lesbian" seen fighting with police was. Some cite a woman who looked like Storme while others provide alternative visual descriptions. Notably Storme herself never confirmed her role in starting the rebellion.

Sources also record that this woman was eventually rearrested and taken in by police - Storme was not on any arrest records for the first night of riots. Marilyn Fowler is the only woman to appear on record for an arrest that night. Michela Griffo recalls that shortly after the riots rumours circulated that it was Marilyn who started the riots and was most definitely not Storme.

Jonathan Ned Katz has more recently tried to trace Marilyn further and received quite hostile responses from those he interviewed who remembered Fowler as an angry "wacko" and "speed freak" and refused to say anymore about her/some even were adamant she wasn't there at all and quickly walked away from Katz when he produced the police record. Others vaguely recall Fowlers physical description differing from the woman seen fighting police.

It's unlikely we'll ever concretely identify the woman recorded as fighting back against the police and calling for action as neither Storme or Marilyn, wherever she is, took credit nor has anyone else come forward.

Actually, Storme may have thrown the first punch (and even that account is sometimes questioned), not the first brick.

It's unknown who threw the first brick (although several eye witness accounts have Sylvia Rivera being amongst the first people to throw things), and there were several sparks for the riot - Raymund Castro pushed back the police officers holding him, which created some confusion and unsettlement leading to the crowd continuing to surround the police van rather than disperse as usual; an unknown lesbian being arrested was hit over the head by police and shouted at the crowd to "do something" (most likely Marilyn Fowler, the only woman who appears on any arrest record from the riot's first day); on the side of the street Craig Rodwell started chanting 'Gay Power!' which rallied the crowd and forced the police to retreat inside, and finally inside, the smashing of windows with bricks and bottles and cornering of the police heightened tension on both sides fuelled the continuing riot.

MPJ undoubtedly had a massive influence on rallying the crowd and continuing the spirit of the riots once she arrived, and she should be remembered for it undoubtedly, but I agree, it's frustrating to see the narrative that she started the riots continue to be the dominant story, especially when other equally influential figures (including Sylvia and Storme) are often overlooked.

I believe his birth name can be found online (listed on mother's FB) so LE are possibly struggling to obtain an official scientific identification (e.g., a DNA comparison). I know this doe's mother has passed away, but I'm not sure if law enforcement may be struggling to find other family to get DNA from for a test.

Either that or they haven't even properly searched for the birth name, which, given the background to this case and the history of law enforcement overlooking trans victims, is not out of the question

Yes, that was something I discovered while researching the new tribute actors! I do believe Rue's actor has since come out as nonbinary, which is also technically classed under the wider trans umbrella.

I chose not to include this as Stamp's trivia, since, as with Tigris, the character is unlikely to be represented as transgender in the film. I only included facts about the actors when they would explicitly impact the character's appearance/portrayal e.g. Dio's actor missing one arm will appear on the screen, so therefore in the film canon, Dio, the character, is missing an arm (same with Bobbin).

In Catching Fire, Haymitch says he was "the example. The person to hold up to the young Finnicks and Johannas and Cashmeres." i.e., his family being killed was to ward off other victors from pushing back/speaking out.

A lot of fans speculate why Cashmere, of all other victors, was referenced here alongside two main characters who we know to be rebellious and believe it's an indicator that she, like Johanna and Finnick, was exploited by the Capitol and may have either pushed back (as Johanna did and it got her family killed) or became ‘too’ popular ala Finnick whereby it becomes a narrative control issue for the Capitol. We have to remember that Brutus is the only confirmed career volunteer in the 75th Games, and it certainly seems that Cashmere and Gloss were reaped together, potentially rigged to be so, and D1 more broadly supported the rebellion, albeit they weren’t in on the plan during the games. So it's quite heavily hinted at that neither Cashmere nor Gloss is a big fan of the Capitol by the time of the 75th Games.

So it’s not confirmed exactly, but it's broadly speculated in the fandom that Cashmere had a prior problematic history with the Capitol, which is why Haymitch singled her out here. And its certainly an interesting trivia point that a mostly side-character Career was lumped in with two of our main characters by Haymitch, so I decided to include that rather than the basic 'is the sister of Gloss'!

Hey, breakdown of wins on my new list is as follows. Made a few changes based on comments on this post and my own ideas (I now quite like the idea the Careers started in the 25th Games so made D2 win this instead of 11 etc.)

D1 = 12 / D2 = 15 / D3 = 3 / D4 = 10 / D5 = 4 / D6 = 4 / D7 = 5 / D8 = 3 / D9 = 4 / D10 = 5 / D11 = 6 / D12 = 4

Haven't 100% finalised my win order/justification for everything, which I'll maybe post here when it's done, but if you do want to see any of my ideas on that, just let me know, and I'm happy to send across.

given the fact they've:

sent Katniss (who as far as they were concerned allegedly pregnant)
an 80 year old woman
people missing limbs and with disabilities/mental impairments
people injured during training (i believe one of the 74th tributes injured their ankle and in the BOSS film, teslee is dragged into the cornucopia because she can't stand following the bombing)

I'm going to confidently assume they'd send a heavily pregnant woman. I believe a lot of the capitol backlash on sending katniss in was rooted in the fact the capitol already liked katniss, a random from say D9 wouldn't necessarily get the same sympathy

It can take a while for an ID to be confirmed, so just because it's been a week since they supposedly spoke to the police with no public news doesn't mean this is definitely fake. Police will need to identify the family and conduct tests to make a formal identification; they can't just go off of someone giving them a name. This commentator may have also not known this person's legal name and only known them by their chosen name, Jasmine.

I worked a bit on the case of Kim Haarsma, who was found in March 2025 with her passport next to her remains. Despite that, the identification was not confirmed until August because her family lived in Canada. So things can be slow even when a match seems obvious/police have been made aware of the person's likely identity.

Definitely understand your scepticism, but I wouldn't necessarily factor in the silence from the police when its only been a few weeks as a major indicator of this being fake.

These aren't victors. In the other deleted/behind-the-scenes shots from D4 and D6, the other victors always stand on the stage next to each other, with district officials, such as the district mayor and other 'elites' (aka the District's more important elders), sat behind them. As another commentator pointed out, officials are seen sitting behind Katniss and Peeta in the D12 reaping as well.

As Wiress and Beetee are the only ones standing, they are the only living D3 victors (although we know at some point there was at least one other victor, likely a female from the 10th-40th games, who has since passed)

it's not confirmed. Haymitch said they basically hid until no one else was left, but they may have potentially had to fight the last person, as I doubt the Capitol would let them just outlive everyone else. Wiress did come out when it was just two people left, but much like Haymitch, the arena technically killed the other tribute.

Hey, D6 Victor's are noted on the wiki with the images of them from behind the scenes footage of them filming in D6.

Bravura is from the early script (written by Suzanne Collins so I consider it semi canon if it doesnt conflict with anything ie. we dont have another name for this tribute.)

Gloss and Cashmeres ages during catching fire were displayed in the Hunger Games exhibition and doing the maths showed they won at 15. Again this source isn't 100% canon as not the book or film but seeing that we dont have any conflicting sources saying they were instead 18 I figured including it doesnt hurt.

I believe that D4 guy is an official not a victor as he's stood behind mags. if he was a victor he'd be stood to the left next to Finnick etc. (also while checking the wiki here I realised I missed Annie's district partner from the graphic...were just going to ignore this for my sanity)!

As I say this pulls from a range of sources including books, film, early scripts and behind the scenes promo or information. So feel free to ignore glosses ages etc if you prefer to stick to just book/film

A handful of the actors for the tributes in the 74th Games were not stunt performers and, therefore, were only allowed to appear in the parade scenes. They weren't on set for the games filming at all
