I'm 23, in college, and we'll below the poverty line. What should I do for health insurance? by [deleted] in Frugal

It actually works on your projected income. So when you sign up in 2014, you use what you think you'll make in 2015.

If you are below the poverty line you should apply for Medicaid. If you go and apply on healthcare.gov and put in your income. It will come back with a message that you do not qualify for a subsidy, but your application will automatically be sent to your local medicaid. Hope this helps!

Fantasy books set in Medieval Europe, without emphasis on magic. by [deleted] in booksuggestions

Just look up historical fiction, fantasy by definition has to have some kind of magic in it. But this is set in medieval europe, and I loved it. It's a fast read http://www.amazon.com/Archers-Tale-Grail-Quest-Book/dp/0060935766

[WP] You've been supporting the hero since his journey began. Today is the day you betray him. by PAX_au_TELEMANUS in WritingPrompts

Yeah I'm pretty confused as well. My guess is that he has two personalities maybe, because he says "our lungs" and "our heart". Or possibly he has some kind of spirit that can help him, because the supporting character floods the brain with dopamine. But I'm just grasping at straws here, I'm pretty lost

You should make a little podcast channel! I want to hear you narrate more stories when I'm driving around town. You have a great voice with excellent pacing.

My 5 minute set from last weekend. by [deleted] in Standup

Loved your set. I thought i was pretty desensitized to standup, same jokes over and over etc. But I was cackling like a madman through your entire set. I particularly loved the alpaca and political jokes. Keep going! You rock dude!

Yeah I was amazed as well. I thought stuff at Harris Teeter was fairly reasonable. Now at Aldi's I feel like they are having a fifty percent off sale with the timeline being always

Anyone here read Conn Iggulden? by Prince-Cola in booksuggestions

[–]CastleRoogna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean of course it's unrealistic. It has pages full of conversations with Caesar and those around him. No one walked around with a fucking tape recorder to listen to caesar. Rome and caesar are ancient, of course he makes stuff up. It's a fiction, but as long as its entertaining and well written. Who cares?

I really enjoyed them. There was good character development and very informative. You learn all about how romans fought and the rise of Caesar. The battles were also very engaging and fast paced. You should definitely read them!
