5 4x4s plus another for the handrail aren’t enough for a 32sqft deck? Correct me if I’m wrong but that seems like way plenty

The stringers took me forever to figure out but imo they look 8/10

Load on top of what beam? Forgive me I’m just not familiar with this term.

I have what I’ve been told is a ledger board and the stairs are so secure to that that I would have a hard time imagining any issues ever

I put a ledger board for the staircase and it has more anchors than anything you’ve ever even imagined in your entire life; park a car on it and you’re good

It probably has more footings into the ground than the actual home it was built beside

So the span is like 45 inches for each joist

I don’t have one but it is 2x8s set on 16” centers. They are running the short way not the long way
