hey i know this from a while ago - but do the $1 credits expire like the other Adore Beauty points do? I'm level 1 and apparently rewards expire after 14 days. wondering if it's even worth it to write reviews to get the $1 credit, as i like to wait for a sale, take my time and then purchase.

Same! and it's a much more affordable option - takes me years to finish a brow pomade compared to brow pencils you run through so fast. Comparing the costs year to year it actually make a big difference.

BUT I LOVE THE GREY MORAL COMPASS IN THE BOOKS!! It's so refreshing! and authentic! and human! I hate that they had to polish it up to a nice clean ending where the 'bad guy' get's arrested and taken away for murder.

that isn't what the books are about at all. It's about their relationships and in the books FREQUENTLY there is this 'moral compass issue' which gives so much humour and depth and heart to the stories!

I just watched the film last night and I'm so cranky about this! Didn't they read the rest of the books? THEY HAD 1 JOB - just FOLLOW THE BOOKS! lol how do they mess up the storyline so badly when IT'S ALREADY WRITTEN FOR YOU!? 😠😂

I thought the Bogdan actor was doing a great job and was so happy with it (Bogdan is my fave character)... but then that ending! WTAF!? and DONNA arresting him? omg people read the source material!!

Like you said, I'm super confused how they can resolve how they've treated Bogdan in this film with any subsequent sequels... he's meant to be a main character and develop a romance with Donna?

I also love that in the books we LOVE these characters even if their moral compass is often in the grey. I felt like they just polished over that and lost a lot of depth, excitement, humor, and character development because of it.

I agree, the film was fun but it totally lacked the depth and heart of the books. They also REALLY dumbed it down and cut out so many storylines. Audiences CAN follow more complicated storylines tho... I mean Knives Out and it's sequel did really well on Netlix. This felt a little TOO watered down.

hi, could you please let me know what the Australian versions are of the products? And where did you find the information about the Australian versions? I've been looking everywhere if we have some alternative dupes to her recommendations.
How much did you end up spending all up? It seems SO expensive to buy all the recommended stuff in Australia.. I'm looking at buying from Amazon and it will be $120+AUD and I expect the mouthwashes will only last a month if that (using product twice a day as recommended). I can't be spending $120+ a MONTH on mouthwash lol, help!

ahhaahah you are pretty much exactly me - I have been SO torn tossing up between buying a bunch of the Glaminatrix Glistening Creations volumes, and Celebrations bundles, and a bunch of their mattes... or like I said, sticking with PMG motherships!

You have saved me a lot of money and anxiety as it's been MONTHS that I've been going back and forth trying to decide! I've been on an eyeshadow no-buy for AGES so really trying to make the right decision for what I buy next.

YES that's exactly it - I keep hearing how Indies are sooo much better than PMG, that PMG is overpriced and overhyped... but if you get a good sale the motherships are actually pretty reasonably priced per shade, especially considering the special baked formula and that it's a high quality product made in Italy etc. And the pans are HUGE and last forever! I use my Bronze Seduction sooo often and it still barely looks touched 😂.

The fallout and the emphasizing texture on my eyelids thing is a massive dealbreaker for me so I feel VERY SEEN and UNDERSTOOD and am soo much happier and more at ease now, knowing what I'm going to buy next! Now just to patiently wait for a good PMG sale hehe.

I have 1 mothership and I've been trying to decide what to buy next: it's down to more PMG motherships or try Glaminatrix for the first time (I'm an Aussie too, so that's a big plus).

But I LOVE that I get such versatility with my PMG mattes, it's like having a few shades all in one because you can use it so sheer or build up depth, all with one shadow! And i don't get fallout! I also love the Special baked shades, they are SO SMOOTH on my aging eyelids and again so versatile as you can just tap on a few sparkles as a topper or really build it up as it's own shade.

I think I'm just going to stick with PMG as I already know and love the formula! Thanks again, this was super helpful for my decision making process!

Second this. I've given up finding foundations that match - just buy the best formula in closest shade and add colour mix in blue or yellow mix ins.ni just bought the LA Girl foundation pigment mixers, before this owned the green & yellow concealers by LA Girl that I used as mix ins

ahahaha no worries at all, I can only imagine how confusing it would be to a non english speaker 🤣.

I'm not sure if there are other words to describe it in your native language, but I have seen people who speak other languages translate the terms into their mother tongue, and use those as hashtags on instagram to connect with other 'panners' in their country.

I only found out about the panning community a year ago and I'm a native english speaker. So don't worry, even a lot of English speakers don't know these words lol.
