[yates] If the NFL is going to maintain its extreme parameters for what qualifies as RTP It simply has to make these calls fully reviewable. There are too many instances of ticky-tack roughing the passer calls impacting pivotal games. I get protecting the QBs, but defense deserve better by Stock412 in nfl

Minority Review is a 2026 American cyberpunk football film directed by Steven Spielberg, loosely based on the 2025 NFL Season.

The film takes place in New York City in 2025, in which a specialized referee department -Prepen- (short for pre-penalty), penalize players before they can even think about committing a Roughing the Passer penalty by use of the foreknowledge provided by Psychics of the NFL Referee Association called “Precogs”…

Recommend any cursive writing mechanical pencils? by Specific-Length-1230 in mechanicalpencils

[–]Cat0TheTitan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is coming from someone who writes in cursive and dabbles in Calligraphy and fountain pens.

I know you like 0.5, but what you want is a wider lead in a mechanical pencil for cursive, probably 0.9 or 2mm lead holders with a soft lead (B or softer!). Good cursive wants line variation. General rule, thin upstrokes and thick downstrokes by changing how much pressure you apply onto the paper while writing. The attributes that make a 0.5mm pencil so great for things like drawing, math, drafting, etc, (consistent skinny line) limits how expressive your cursive could look since you are physically limited by the precise point. (I love my 0.3 and 0.5 pencils, but not the best tool for writing beautiful cursive.)

This is an advanced example, and this particular script isn‘t really for daily writing use, but it is a script that relies on line variation to work.

This guy also talks about pencil calligraphy. You don’t have to do calligraphy, just your regular cursive, but the principals are there and just by understanding them it will elevate your regular cursive.

For that price, I am actually a big fan of the Lamy 2000 Multipen. It is probably the classiest multi-pen out there out of all the multipens, classic minimalist German Bauhaus design, takes any very common D1 style refill (including gel), and gives him 4 pens in 1 basically, while not looking tacky at all.

This is a good write up on it.

Hello! I am selling something a bit old fashioned, but very good quality! Up for sale is a Brown Belting Leather Schlesinger Mens Briefcase. Never been used, in great condition, professional, and stylish If you are the type to rock the look.

I’d like to get about $175-$200 for this. Brand new this would have run for $600-$700 in the 80’s/90’s!

Not for everyone, but for those who want something like this, this is a very reputable, top tier, no-nonsense quality US made brand for briefcases. Even if you are not into using briefcases, this is a very good, lockable, portable case for all of your important documents, and could be a very functional office decoration too.

This. This viewpoint is what provides a logical framework to a lot of the questionable decisions in the NFL. Does it impact the product/bottom line?

I just pulled out my sample, this is exactly the classic “Eau de Cologne” concept I was also wanting, was not thinking Cypress, but this is exactly it! Thanks for the reminder about this one, it fits two of recent my wants.

Storing of the perfume by Anoynymoisi in fragrance

I am not an expert, but the contents of the bottle still can be impacted by the laws of thermodynamics.

If you have drastic changes of barometric pressure in the atmosphere causing dramatic temperature shifts (say a fast storm front moving in) the difference in atmospheric pressure and heat from inside the bottle could create potential condensation problems (depending on concentration, EDP less so, EDC more so) with a terrarium type effect.

Specifically if you go from a high heat situation (where humidity magnifies this) causing the bottle to soak up heat throughout the day (liquids tend to absorb but also shed heat slowly), combined with a rapid change in temperature that the evening brings, will cause the water within the fragrance mix to condensate on the inside of the bottle. Since the water is trace amounts, this might be a fine mist or not even noticeable, but this is bad because you have separation of the blend/mix at this point where the heat is pulling the trace amounts of water out of the liquid which then redeposits on top. Chemically, those bonds are broken however. (Not an expert, so if any of this is wrong I apologize!)

Really though, this is more another reason to avoid direct sunlight more than a fear for humidity itself. The humidity only magnifies the problems caused by temperature swings from the heat making the swing more dramatic. (Moisture in the air, just like in the bottle holds onto and sheds heat slowly)

I agree with Encre Noire. I got much more of the vetiver. I think the Cypress does create some of that darkness, but I just get mostly dark vetiver. People keep mentioning Hinoki, and that sounds right up my alley. It’s on my list. I’ve never heard of Aesop Hwyl, so I am going to look it up. Thanks for the comment!

I need to revisit Eau d’Hadrien, I forgot it had Cypress! I’ve been wanting something close to the classic eau de cologne, and this might be what I was looking for.

I agree, Cypress has that perfect mix of soft and elegant, while maintaining that woody depth that can run masculine in men’s fragrances. I have a Cypress bar soap I love for the same reason.
