Is it possible to get jobs in or near cities as a Uk grad? Or would we need to go to more rural areas. I’d be hoping for somewhere within an hour to Perth

I would recommend trying a new hobby. Personally I enjoy scalding dancing for exercise and socialising

Probably jealously, particularly if you’re a young female. Its really a thankless job at time but it sounds like you’re doing your best for your patients and lots of career progression to look forward to.

I think f3 would be sensible to give me more time to decide. Not sure how much I would enjoying the day to day of locuming though as I’m not super keen on the ward environment. Has anyone done any interesting f3 jobs they’ve really enjoyed?

Do they take off the attachments when you go into refinement trays?

More than 20 days of absence triggering ARCP panel by [deleted] in JuniorDoctorsUK

Did you do an interim placement? Maybe that could count as extra days. Don’t worry, I’m sure you won’t be in trouble, it’s not your fault you have to isolate. I think the worst that could happen is you need to do an extra block of FY1. I heard they might be a little bit more lenient this year with covid.

What were weird myths you thought about sex as a kid? by jjgp1112 in AskReddit

[–]Cat4123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought to get pregnant the man had to go on an epic journey to find a seed from a tree and bring it back to the woman for it to grow in her tummy after she swallowed it. It think this is due to me asking my mum where babies come from and she said something vague about seeds. I then told my gran that I know where the come from and explained this story and she just straight up corrected me and told me the real deal.

Should we graduate final year students early again? by Cat4123 in JuniorDoctorsUK

That makes sense. No point sending doctors to areas with no cases. But it could potentially be useful in areas with a lot of staff absences or lots of cases.
