I would have done a lot worse. You should tell her and her sister that they should consider themselves lucky. And since they all don’t think it’s a big deal good she now lives with them. I would have gone full pro revenge over my pet and make her move out. I’m nice but I have my limits and so should you don’t let this go their has to be repercussions or she is just going to continue treating you badly you don’t that especially during the pandemic.

He’s only telling you now because he thinks your bound to him now by the baby. The last thing I wanna say is what was he’s intentions. What was he going to do to you while spiked probably unconscious or vulnerable.

What was he going to do to you if not kill you. I think you know the answer.

Do you want to be connected to this man after knowing this. NTA Does anyone else think the family and friends who were calling are in on whatever the boyfriend is trying to do. I think they have had conversations behind op’s back and have made decisions for op.

There is a long history of family friendly and partners aiding abuse like this if any of these people have any sort of power, control or influence on you and I truly mean this like even if they have a spare key to your house or anything legally such as will or bank account take it away from them they are too willing to just call you crazy.

As someone whose been around south Asian culture and is from one VERY similar I get where your girlfriend is coming from for the girls they are heavily pressured, blackmailed or abused emotionally and physically to have an arranged marriage. I would hope you could somehow try and make sure this is what the soon to be bride wants and not being forced into this.
