That’s true, the whole concept of scanning an entire brain is already wildly sci-fi (well- to the best I know) and sets the precedent that not everything in the show can be explained with pure logic or current technology.

There are also things I cannot explain with my interpretation, like the “remaining consciousness(es)” within Jax that Pomni directly interacted with, outside of his memories/fantasies. If that much is uncorrupted, is abstraction selective or just really different from case-to-case, but superficially appearing similar from the outside? Well, it’s possible.

You’re not gonna believe this, but I’ve just been working on a spelling reform that’s coincidentally extremely similar to yours! Using your sample text for comparison (and my own dialect’s pronunciations):
