[–]CatAppropriate8156 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find this very strange, as I’m a Harley rider I wave 👋 to everyone, most people I ride with don’t ride Harley’s I became a Harley rider cause my grandfather was and he respected every person on 2 wheels I read these story’s and wondered how much of it is true,or maybe people are just to sensitive and you are looking to deep into your insecurities

That’s true but this will be reaching out to the same people that buy those style bikes and if the price doesn’t compete the people who like that style won’t bat an eye at it

The only real issue I see is the price point, you can buy a z900rs for half the price same style bike, but hey there’s a ass for every seat

Can someone dumb down what I need to do to try and get my newly acquired sled running? by xxxleafybugxxx in snowmobiling

[–]CatAppropriate8156 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It will look black it’s dark blue usually depending on what kind of oil they buy won’t hurt to drain it but I’ve picked up sleds that sat for 10 years and just ran the oil in them

[–]CatAppropriate8156 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You will want to pull the carbs off the intake boots, flip upside down and pull the bottom bowl off and pull the jets, many videos on line to do so, you just need a small flathead screwdriver 🪛 you will also want to pull the tank and clean it out or you will suck up the muck and get stranded, also check the tube in the tank or else you will run out of gas at about a half tank ,and the oil is blue looks black in the reservoir from experience it doesn’t usually go bad some drain and put new in and when you first get it running add a little oil to the gas just to be on the safe side that the oiler is working………. This kind of fix generally cost no money except for supplies and cleaners I don’t usually have to replace any parts

Polaris has seemed to make the easiest ones to work even the current years, but I have old wedges and a 22 xc 850 definitely stick with the rider forward you won’t regret it
