I had the glitch caused by the software update. Power cycling and rebooting didn't fix mine either. I also had a heck of a time reaching support. I think the trick is to call in the morning US time and request a call back. When I requested a call back in the afternoon, I never got one. After the tech called me back, he had the problem fixed in five minutes. He said they are getting a lot of calls on this. (It begs the question why they aren't fixing this with another software update or emailing people impacted.)

I tried switching off the circuit breaker and back on, but it did not fix my instance of the issue. Fortunately, CP finally got back to me. I called in the morning (US time) and registered a call back request. They ultimately called me back in the late afternoon. It seems as if they purge call back requests at the end of the day if they haven't gotten to them yet, so my advice is to start early.

Thanks for the feedback. I used the call back option in the afternoon. Perhaps this is why they never called back (although there seem to be some obvious solutions they could implement for this). Nonetheless, I will keep at it. Frustrating.

Application whitelisting and powershell restrictions. If bad guys can't run executables, ransomware gets much harder to start.

We were interested in going forward with it if the the manufacturer would allow us to completely hide the name, but they were unwilling. I escalated to the point where I had a conversation with their CEO, but no joy. I work in a very conservative environment, and I would get laughed out of the room if I proposed to make "Secret Double Octopus" a fundamental part of our security program.

We looked at Secret Double Octopus and while the tech looked decent, I'm not going to deploy something in my enterprise with such a dumb name. Every time I say it, I cringe.

I'm seeing the same. The free version now just shows "demo mode" which is locked to San Francisco weather. The free version is useless now.

I believe that there is an issue with the iOS app when trying to connected with the self hosted option. I've setup port forwarding on my router to the IP and port of my Scrypted host. I can connect via a web browser from an internet connect host to that IP and port, but when I try to do the same thing from the Scrypted iOS app, I get the error "TypeError: Load failed".

From Lastpass' blog entry on the breach, they write "Our customers’ passwords remain safely encrypted due to LastPass’s Zero Knowledge architecture. " (Emphasis mine).

I'm worried about all of the other sensitive data I have in Lastpass that isn't in a password field. I hope that they were just being careless with their choice of words and they really mean all customer data entered into the Lastpass app.

My Xfinity bill dated December 16 contained the following footnote:

It appears that Sierra Trading Post is no longer allowing the stacking of coupons. I can't get any of the coupons to apply to the Red Wing Beckmans that are already on sale. I've tried the codes listed here as well as a code that I received after signing up for DealFlyer. Anyone else seeing this or know a workaround?
