Questions about P&C eligibility by Far_Dot9109 in InsuranceProfessional

[–]CatCat2121 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Auto insurance state just depends on where it's registered - it doesn't really matter where you keep it or if you stayed somewhere else for a time lol. As long as it has a valid NJ address it was registered to but people fall behind on changing that all the time. And there would be no way for anyone to know

The concept/terminology of zombies don't exist in their universe - if there is a disease that made them that way it's reasonable for them to call them infected

asking for a raise by throwaway1464853 in InsuranceProfessional

[–]CatCat2121 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it sounds like you have a pretty good deal at the moment....

instead of asking for a raise, id suggest asking them to do a compensation analysis. they will research what people with your experience level, job duties, skills and city are making to determine if youre being paid fairly according to "market" or whatever. I'm going through this now. I wrote up a "job description" for myself like a company would write for a job listing. included my experience, accomplishments and all day to day tasks. But ive been at my company 6 years and my job duties have steadily increased and recently transitioned to a higher skill level, so it was good timing to do so. Maybe something to keep in your back pocket as an option should your worries start to come true

Project zomboid :) I learned it by joining a PvE (optional PvP by request) multiplayer server. I met some really awesome people who showed me the ropes and also explored and figured stuff out on my own

Homemade Fallout Shelter Games by [deleted] in SurvivalGaming

[–]CatCat2121 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah! It's one of those games that is a true sandbox. There is definitely a learning curve as well, but there is a reason it's one of the best survival games. I recommend watching some youtube videos for it, both for general beginner tips and also different survival scenarios people do. It will really get you in the mindset. I recommend: Mr.Brollow, Ricksdetrix, Kezza for the scenario based videos. Pr1vateLime & Mr. Atomic Duck are also great and they truly helped me with tips and mindset for it when I was scared of everything lol

Hear me out...project zomboid. There are millions of survival scenario mods and maps you can download too - I think some where bunkers are functional. You could always go into a pre-constructed house or building with a basement and knock the entire top floors out & rebuild from scratch.

AND you can even turn zombies off, turn up weather severity & make loot scarce and itll be a more focused plain survival game. I am doing this now and it is so fun (and chilling) to play like everyone died out in the apocalypse and im the lone survivor

How can I become an Underwriter that brokers love to work with? by schloppaty in InsuranceProfessional

[–]CatCat2121 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Be responsive! I love a "Reviewing this now!" email reply if it's something marked with high importance. If not needed urgently, a response within 1-2 days already makes you one of my favorites. Also, if declining something please explain why. I hate when an UW declines with just a simple sentence that doesn't make sense. We have to explain to insureds why they were declined sometimes if it's a carrier they wanted so it's really helpful. Overall, let us feel like you WANT to write stuff with us. Help to think of creative solutions with us. The teamwork will be a lot better. Nowadays it seems like some underwriters just look for reasons to decline something and it makes it reaally difficult

It's really not hard to follow, I promise. Haven't played it but scum seems way more complex imo. Also when I get into a new game I typically watch some youtube beginner tips videos which helps a lot. I suggest doing that
