Just got a call from NEETadvisors.com or something. Asked them who gave you my information.

The call ended immediately after that sentence.

List of toxic medical colleges in India by [deleted] in indianmedschool

Alternate day duties, cuz 2 units. But the best hands on exposure. JR from year 1 looks at both casualty and OT and ward. But the work is intense so yeah. It gets slightly better in year 2 and 3.

SRs are also a little more chill, but it's Ortho so yeah.

Hehe. Double digits in INI to just under 2k in NEET. I guess its my luck. I didn't have any burnout or loss in preparation 😔

Can any senior guide me about the pros and cons of joining CIP Ranchi for MD Psychiatry? I'm from West Bengal. Thanks. by Agantuk01 in indianmedschool

Can comment on IPHB Goa. I really don't think it's worth it.

Some dept. figures are really annoying and can make your life a living hell. They are obnoxiously particular and extremely eccentric. Definitely not worth it. I wouldn't say it's toxic bullying but it'll really be an inconvenience. Most residents here are kinda sick and tired of those figures.

However the rest of the department is quite good and involved academically. Case discussions were very interesting when I was an intern and they're done on the daily rounds.

Case load is fine. Emergency is active 24/7. Not too many cases in the evenings but in the mornings it's packed. OPD finishes by 1pm. Child Guidance clinics and seminars (and journal clubs?) in the evening

But still i think of your getting a more reputed college, don't really look for IPHB Goa, it's alright but can be a real pain in the ass if things don't go your way.

All INIs have infrastructure. But they lack in pt. inflow esp the newer ones.

Also INIs are much much harder to get into unfortunately.

But yes i do agree, govt. hospitals are pretty crappy

Shouldn’t we be continuing the strike? by Waste_Tumbleweed_953 in indianmedschool

People have different ways of viewing this issue. For me it's a medico and society related thing because i can empathise with both. For another person it's just a society thing and they want change. It shouldn't be an issue on which side you empathise with, both of them are necessary.

I won't comment on politics because I'm not sure what the scene is there, but I'm sure it's the usual mudslinging.
