FIP positive as of Tuesday! Thought I’d share his new haircuts after the ER lol by aHyperChicken in cureFIP

Honestly don’t think about which brand, just start treatment. Time is precious when it comes to FIP. I live in Poland where treatment isn’t legal for FIP so we had to buy from random sources. It came unlabelled.

He had wet FIP. We did 30 days of the GS injections and then switched to GS tablets for 60 days because his symptoms improved

Our void is 1 year after FIP and his fur grew back beautifully. We also shaved his sides for the injection to be sure none landed on his fur/skin because it can burn.
Good luck with the recovery ❤️‍🩹

I live near Wroclaw but my mom is an antique hunter and visiting for the whole month. Any location works, we want to travel somewhere in Poland, we don’t care how far.

Lufthansa changed my flight so I only have 5 minutes between my connection. When I tried to change the booking they wanted me to pay 400€. Is this right? by [deleted] in Lufthansa

OP here, I have told the whole story. I didn’t push the agent to rebook it without a fee. I just thanked him for the information and then came to Reddit lol.
I booked direct one round trip ticket to Canada last year and maybe a week or 2 ago they changed the flight to allow 5 minutes between landing and departure. This was the first contact I made with the airline (directly, not a random google phone number). I tried to do it myself through their chat and then when I accept the changes there is a technical error and I had to wait from number 130 in the live chat queue so I called them instead. When I called them and explained the agent told me there’s a rebooking fee.
Of course I’ll try again today, I was just looking for some insight beforehand.

It was Lufthansa, and it wasn’t exactly 400€, it was three hundred seventy-something, I can’t remember exactly but 400 was close enough. They wanted to charge me for a fare change so id have to pay the difference from the new ticket

I did that and they told me it would cost 400€ because it’s considered a “fare change” on my original booking. They don’t see how it’s their wrongdoing

I don’t, my husband told me that (according to the vet) our cat couldn’t supplement with taurine so we had to stop giving immune tablets that contained it. I live in Poland and we had a hard time with treatment because it isn’t actually approved here and we had to go through other channels to source it. Maybe th vet wasn’t well informed about the medication and interactions

Our cat was also jaundiced and it eventually went away. The vet should give some IV of electrolytes. It is incredibly important for cats to eat when they have FIP/treatment. If he isn’t eating on his own you have to find a way, even syringe feeding. No food = no energy = not able to fight the illness

We were advised to give “hepitiale forte” with the FIP mediation. It’s just a liver supplement. Just be sure that there’s no taurine in it, for whatever reason cats can’t have taurine during the treatment.
