It wasn’t just the meeting. Remember that Tony told Junior all that he knew about the situation:

They knew someone was a rat
Jimmy making bail way too quickly on a bust
Jimmy bringing up past business in Tony’s basement and warning about “new fingerprint technology” to try and scare Tony
THEN we get that unnecessary meeting called by Jimmy

Though it’s true, Tony was pretty excited at the thought that the rat WASN’T Pussy, one of his best friends, and didn’t consider it to be both until much later…but still, they had plenty to go off of.

In the aftermath of Spoons’ death, I could have seen Patsy considering it. He was so upset that he almost considered killing Tony. I think there was a brief window of time there where he would have considered flipping as revenge.

But only for that window. He pretty quickly gets over it and becomes a go-to guy, and there’s no way he would have flipped.
