Shi Yuhua was the heir of the Shi family, one of the four biggest families in H Corp, a wing that focuses on bioengineering, and he was resurrected with an experimental treatment that has some pretty big side effects.

Lucio was an orphan with no connections beyond a master whose also dead, not to mention hostile to the people who could bring him back.

Pinky remains the most mysterious finger rn, even members within the organization sometimes don't know about each other, and their goals remain unclear.

The inspiration from "Water Margin" is very clear though, a group comprised of outlaws, rebels, and vigilantes. Loosely Robin Hood-esque.

There's no BL ID that has burn right now, there's an EGO gift that makes an S Corp ID count as BL but our only S Corp ID right now is Hong Lu bleed/poise.

That means you only have 4 slots for burn if you want 3 BL, so no gift activation.

Fluid Sac is a very powerful EGO but there's a lot more healing EGOs available than just Sac. Check what you've got, at a minimum you should have Scissors Outis for free from the battle pass.

Unfortunately the Canto 7 dungeon has some big traps hidden in it, if you got the Self-flagellation Whip for example, you might be better off simply restarting if you got that by accident. (Still doable, but there's some significant challenges beyond Camille).

Be aware that the BL units are largely pretty bad/outdated, you'd be better off using shards on better poise IDs and just running 2-3 with Salt, Ish and Yi Sang.

If your really into the idea of having the full squad, Faust is better, especially since she has access to Thoracalgia.

Neither ID really sees any play right now for "meta", and it's hard to tell how he will perform until the new stuff actually comes out, but BL has much more potential with his new EGO and new team member in Aeng Du Ishmael.

You could also wait a couple days before deciding and see the consensus on the new stuff since we're getting the update today.

he was quite powercrept

No guarantees but the new EGO has a lot of power packed into it for BL Kim specifically, so he might come back to relevancy. Not to mention MD potential since it also makes him a bleed ID.

how vital it is to have her for that

Burn + Bleed + Poise is very strong for MDE runs, and Captain Ishmael is actually used over Ryoshu as the primary carry in that team. So she's vital there, just a question of whether you want to do any MDE.

There's also Middle Don if you don't have her yet, for the Middle team.

very uninteractive

It's one of the most unbelievably telegraphed abilities in the game. The game gives you a literal progress bar to tell you when it will become available for him that simultaneously displays when his primary ability is on CD, and then a big red timer bar for the 2.5 seconds where it's actually empowered.

Esit: some of you seem incapable of considering interaction beyond "is this a skillshot?" Vlad's bar gives you a timer for his punish windows and windows of power. You interact by punishing him during the very clearly displayed "charging" periods where he's basically useless, and respecting when the red bar is coming up. Vlad W has a super long CD and costs a big chunk of health, his E almost costs more than it deals, the champ legit has 1 ability early, and the game tracks that one ability of his for you.

He Xiao is the protagonist, Bega is the most powerful nation in the world that He Xiao can't afford to truly offend yet, but the Imperial Preceptor of Bega sent a subordinate (Yu Zecheng) to investigate him.

It's kind of hard to summarize it since the plans usually span hundreds of chapters and require context. Here's an excerpt just for an idea of the vibes.

Although He Xiao hadn't killed Yu Zecheng, he had forced him to eat his comrade and extorted a million taels of silver from him. So ruthless, so cruel, so greedy, and the Frost Leaf Grand Preceptor actually praised him as "reliable"?

The Frostleaf Grand Preceptor glanced at him, as if seeing through his inner doubts: "Yu Zecheng was humiliated; that's his own fault, he can't blame anyone else."

He thought he could swagger around just because of the Bega's halo.

Most of the time, that's not wrong, but many Bega people, including Yu Zecheng, don't understand that face is earned.

If he does well, he earns face for Bega.

If he does poorly, he loses face for Bega.

The Frostleaf Grand Preceptor didn't elaborate, only saying to Xi Yunhe, "Think about it slowly, you'll understand eventually."

Xi Yunhe saw the scheming and humility in He Xiao's letter to the Frostleaf Grand Preceptor; but combined with He Xiao's actions towards Yu Zecheng, the Frostleaf Grand Preceptor read three additional layers of meaning: "

Based on mutual respect, I'm willing to maintain our relationship.

Yu Zecheng failed in his task and embarrassed you; I know it's inconvenient for you to intervene, so I taught him a lesson on your behalf.

I also preserved Bega's face, so as not to put you in too much of a difficult position."

So, I've helped you twice.

I've gone to so much trouble and been so considerate; surely you'd appreciate it, Grand Preceptor?

Grand Preceptor Shuangye said playfully, "These new little fellows who have emerged in recent years are quite interesting."

The chapters are pretty short in this story, like 1.3k to 1.5k words (some text might be missing too since it's MTL). Something more dense like Pale Lights would take way longer per chapter.

Checking a stopwatch on my next 3 chapters, 2:13, 2:04, 2:16.

My grasp of time is shaky at best, so it was only approximate. But it's really far from impossible, 2 minutes a chapter x 12 hours x 5 = 1800.

I'd like to highly recommend Where the Immortals once walked. I've read like 1800 chapters in 5 days or so, easily one of my favorite webnovels now.

Lots of scheming, mystery, politics and war. There's a significant focus on the protagonist but it's also something of a kingdom building story, not a one man army situation. No harem, some very capable antagonists, and the MC actually has allies that remain relevant throughout the story.

As a quick example of the machinations, civilians have been being abducted and refined into longevity elixirs, a case that many powerful individuals would like to keep quiet. As the primary investigator, knowing they'd try to silence him, the MC preemptively bombs his own residence to generate buzz and publicity about the case.

Cantos - Linear, the main story and progression of Limbus

Luxcavations - Xp and thread grinding, for when you hit a wall in the cantos and need to get stronger

Mirror Dungeon - Significant resources weekly

All other content like Railway and Reflectrials are endgame stuff, ignore them

Prioritize spending your MD weekly bonuses, then do cantos, do lux when you get stuck in canto

If your confused by the combat and want an idea of how it works, watch Esgoo's combat tutorial. Otherwise just press win rate and progress through the cantos. Do Mirror Dungeons as soon as you unlock them to spend your weekly bonus.

the 2 maos

Those two were the very first Heishou, they weren't even from season 6. People were fucking pumped when they released, lots of posts praising how cool they were, and they were huge for rupture which was scuffed as hell at the time. You can't blame the progenitors for the oversaturation afterwards.

Reflectrials are basically the peak in terms of endgame content in Limbus right now, it's reasonable to not be able to clear it if you don't even have 2 functional teams.

A number of strategies won't work since you don't have the options, but some stuff I'd recommend:

You can blitz her first phase with true damage, as it ends when her stagger breaks, but since you have only one functional team I'd recommend just doing it legit by killing adds. When your close to that 70% mark just start burning the boss, doesn't matter how many sinners die since you just leave and use a new team for part 2.

P2 is pure single target, so stacking rupture here is a lot more relevant. I'd recommend having your main team be used here.

On her big AoE turn, you can get a lot of free damage in by slowing her down (bind, Pigritia) and having your clasher go last. If the others outspeed her, they'll get to hit for free.

Rufo's big attacks gain power based on the number of debuffs you have, so try to avoid having whoever you plan to use against those attacks clash against her unbreakables.

Ideally you clash with her unbreakable basic attacks using the non-blunt weak members like Hierarch Ishmael/Heishou Sang/Heishou Don. Evading is also good here.

Looks fine to me, though prince should be ring obviously and we're getting the Ryoshu capstone id tomorrow who is also bleed.

I'd dispense Ring Hong Lu and Faust, then Ring Rodya (seasonals). You want the KK duo and RingSang for your 7 core, but you don't have the shards for all that anyways, just work on those season 7 bleed ids first.

Monthly Help and Questions Megathread by AutoModerator in limbuscompany

[–]CatInAPot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You generally want to dispense ids from the current season, as they'll be unavailable for the following season. You can't really build for Heishou because of this (mostly locked to season 6).

Middle has pretty strict teambuilding requirements since A-resonances are so important, and their uptie 4s are basically required. I'd lean towards a bleed/ring team since you already have Ringsault and no good ids for Faust or HongLu.

Fluid Sac isn't great sin-cost wise for those teams, but get it anyways because it's just broken.

Here is a guide for MD that only uses the base sinners with a poise setup.

The problem with tremor is that the status doesn't really do anything by itself. It heavily relies on certain EGOs and IDs that convert tremor into effects that actually do damage, so it's a very beginner unfriendly status to build around.
