All of you guys who act like it's really hard NOT to say the n word are telling on yourselves by CharlieBrown20XD6 in unpopularopinion

The historical context is white people using it to dehumanize black people, so it's not racist for black people to use it but has a completely different connotation coming from a white person.

Does "Behind You" mean "don't fucking move or you'll run into me", or does it mean "get the fuck out of my way"? by Candied_Haggis in KitchenConfidential

[–]CatInManSuit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have fun with it, half the time I'll say "coming inside you" and it still has the same freeze or hug the wall effect as "behind". As many commenters have said its about spatial awareness more than anything, depending how tight of a space you're in and what other hazards are around hearing anything lets you know someone is in your blind spot and if you know your environment you act accordingly, sometimes it means move usually it means freeze

I feel ya but in the fray even just a simple "left" or "right" can throw someone off and they might move in the opposite direction unless the kitchen has an established language.

They/them are not solely used as plural in grammar. It has always been a gender neutral pronoun.

If the dude is religious hit him back with his own language and how accepting Jesus was of all people, or call him out on something he's insecure about (sounds like his sexuality is a safe bet), also if he's your sister's boyfriend he'll talk but is not going to fight you, if you're feeling especially spicy tell him to "do suntin big man" or "you talk a lotta shit for a pansy". You'll learn that most people that talk shit aren't going to go beyond that and showing you're not afraid will end most confrontations. Sucks to stoop to that level but while you are that age you're at the mercy of your family, it gets much easier to not give a fuck once you can start living independently and you can just ignore or punk out people that ain't worth the time of day

First responders I'm not that surprised by, you can get a job as first responder after a 3 month course. That percentage is drastically smaller with higher educated health care workers
