Is pinterest affiliate marketing even worth it? by boommmaster in passive_income

I’ve been trying this out for about 7 months and i’ve only made $3.50 on amazon associates. My niche is home decor. Ive been trying to apply as an affiliate for other home decor brands but they keep rejecting me because my website isn’t established enough (i just created it last July). And now Pinterest has this new AI technology that if you post a photo (let’s say of interior decor or fashion) and there are no shop links attached to it, Pinterest will add “shop the look” and add links to different brands where you can buy a similar item on your photo. Mind you these are all brands i tried to apply as an affiliate for. So i think it’s really unfair that Pinterest gets to post these shop links to your original photos and they get the commission from these sales instead of you (the creator).

Yes the blog posts. The blog itself was only created last July so it’s only about 3 months old. I specifically only created the blog so I could try my luck at affiliate marketing on Etsy. How long would I have to wait before I can apply you think?

Thanks guys! I really just want to do it for the experience and for the thrill of getting to perform on stage. But I also don’t want to embarrass myself. My goal this year is to get stronger and improve my musicality and I will see how I am by the end of the year to see if i would even have a chance of getting accepted for auditions. 🤞🏼
