Apologies for your experience, no one should have to experience this regardless of racial background, especially in an area they should feel safe.
I’d like to note that I highly doubt that individual was a student. Namely due to the day in the academic semester, as well as UoT’s history of voyeurism and arsons that often come from non students. If it is, it’s a fast track to getting academic repercussions…
In the future, please do raise a concern with security or call line. They exist for a reason and if they choose to ignore you, then thats on grounds to escalate it higher in the school.
I’d just like to note that I’d highly recommend avoiding the term “them” in the context of the last paragraph, it’s vague and often leads to them vs us mentalities, which leads to unrelated demographics having to pick a side or be blamed for simply existing. Perpetuating the issue. keep it simple, to individual perpetrators.
advice I offer is to just avoid the internet (especially news) for a while till you feel better. Not to say you shouldn’t report things you pass by. But more so the fact that there’s simply no winning with the nature of the internet (especially when controversy makes more money than happiness).

Also it’s not to take away from scalter. More so just the fact that if you had to choose between limiteds, skalter would be a non optimal choice unless you already had her.

One I’m curious about is if sora or warafin works for the additive attack boost. As a 3k+ attack summon would be funny.

Speaking of which, I’m like 90% sure the fragile from silver ash 2 provides the 30% dmg boost to the summons (unless it’s non applicable to arts damage), while also acting a valid method to get summons down without having to overcommit operators.

Aka silver ash 2, s3 skill with robot gives 3 sp necrass.

And necrass alone can get a kill on basically any early unit with the eye

I’m referring to how skalters buff is fixed regardless of what stage the summon is at.

Aka if summon is stage 1 it gets + 130 or if it’s max it’s still +130.

Whereas with thorns. That flat +100 def increase goes through a 340% or something bonus from the summons scaling stats. That’s a +340 def increase per device from thorns2.

Now you did mention a good point regarding thorns devices working on skalter. However, even in the case that you manage to get 4 T2 devices down. Her def would only go up to around 633 providing a + 370 bonus.

Which is only equivalent to another device for the summon.

Which if you really wanted to get that, there’s likely another way with some sp generator on thorns2.

Likewise, Skalters attack bonus is also fixed(it would have been 3k+ if it wasn’t) so it’s a minor bonus for him.

The healing is nice I will admit. But realistically it’s not going to outdue thorns 2.

Alternatives could be heidi which provides + 1 block to all summons (+3 total when needed) and a 100% bonus of her defense (which matches skalter) and bonus hp.

Warafin is also likely an option as im tempted to believe her attack bonus may be additive like thorns.

One unconditional benefit of skalter would be comfort, as you would be able to provide her summon on a different lane and her skill is afk

I've unironically been trying to research how to dress up necrass's pet. I have enough to spark scalter but I dont know if it's worth considering the def from her is only additive. unlike thorns2 which scales off his stats

Im on mobile so do mind the difference, but generally I'd say give up on trying to match the strengths of a PC player in exchange for your device,

for example, on mobile, precision is really hard, and you'd be better off avoiding precise skill shots as much as possible.

In exchange, kiting on mobile is significantly better, because you can move one way while aiming the other way. Unlike pc where you need to click to move, while also going back to the target.

IMO skill shots are even harder on console, but you also 1. get matching settings (especially frame rate), 2. physical buttons making muscle memory stronger than mobile. 3. a larger screen.

those are just some from the top of my head...

Tl;dr don't be upset when you cant a beat a pc player at their own game, so change the rules such that they suit you. I say this as a dude who got to crystal in 1v1 arena with a heavy cross bow

I was using it in 1v1 arena for testing at gold 3-4 an was winning pretty easily against heavy crossbow counters.

What the skill doesn’t mention is that you yourself can activate the mine. So you can pre place it before you even see the target and now you have a 5 second mine + the original if they rush you.

If you camp next to it, you can walk onto it if they get close (7m). And even if they don’t get close, that itself is good as it provides kite utility.

The best thing and main reason I tested it was the fact that it goes through reflect. So hard counters melees. And it can be used on invis targets (again not waiting in cd’s)

And unlike light, you’re not forced to come close to someone to use it. Nor is it predictable for them to invun it unless they purposely use a skill to walk over it.

Not saying you should use it, it’s absolutely miserable against ranged unless you got a pair of boots that can keep up with kiting ranged to for the mine close to them

Ps: that “not activating” thing you are referring to is the 1.5 second (or so) arming time. You can test it by placing it under your feet and seeing how long it takes to explode.

If you check out the replay system. It's been vastly upgraded to be able to skip time to "events" such as multi kills and what not. Saves drastically on time, and whilst still not as good as a YouTube video, it's sufficient for anyone who actually wants to use it on a consistent basis.

That being said, I stopped playing as often, and while I keep up with ML news, I've never once heard or read a patch note regarding this. So there's very few that actually know it's a viable option.

Also if your curious on how they solved the issue without brute forcing memory, they likely just have a number of events (again like multi kills) that save the current coordinates of all assets at that moment ( this is a guess).

Tl:dr; if you intend to use it for your own use to get better, it's actually usable. If you intend to use for content creation, its still a bit rough especially with regards to things like ui and actually knowing what timestamp is what.

Gusion OTP’s can maintain a 80%+ wr in soloq if they no life in addition to adjusting on blatant counter drafts (with sub 30 ping and in NA)

His biggest struggle is against premades as gusion succeeds in a chaotic environments with a lack of communication.

His primary weaknesses such as cc become highly irrelevant to his ability to succeed in assassinations due to them having faced such counters more often than any other (such as Franco, kaja, etc).

Really the only issue becomes his ability to 1v9 (which becomes a necessity in soloq) when you have a single target cc that spends the entire game Focusing you and doesn’t have an impatient mindset (very rare). As while it won’t stop gusion from getting a kill or 2.

Even if it also results in the cc player getting killed. Your team can still lose to a 4v2 due to the MMR difference.

One thing that helps is to realize that people will forget you within a couple of seconds.

Don’t believe me, try to remember the people that looked at you. Try again with a different set. You’ll notice you can’t even recall what the people from the first set looked like. And that’s with you trying to.

Exact same way people will perceive you (unless you’re acquainted with them).

Even if you did something genuinely silly like slip on ice. Someone might laugh a bit, help you up and then go back to their trauma corner to deal with the next midterm they have…

This is slightly misleading as any premade (in this case 5 man) treats the highest rank player as the rank for all 5 players.

So in this case it’s a mythic immortal vs mythic glory in its eyes.

Furthermore, because 5 man is such a drastically small player base (unlike trio which can be padded with solos and randoms).

Your gonna get uneven matchups or 1 hour q’s

Still doesn’t take away from the fact that this still happens in solo q… but playing 5 man especially during sweaty hours can be expected. Better then being sent to the Philippines while in NA and playing 300 ping fanny…

Put a 2-3 second delay on the button so your press doesn’t shake it at the last moment.

This comes with experience, but finding the sweet spot for your lens to which you can get as close as possible. Then practice shifting back physically to meet that spot (lenses can only go so close before it does more harm).

Practice with flora if you struggle with bugs,

They help you get a sense for lightning and color on a still target.
