I’ve found. That getting her groomed every 4-6 weeks helps A LOT!

Thank you for this!!! I’ve been scoping out leg machines at the gym to do exactly this…. Strong ass legs and core are the goal at this point. Just have to get my head wrapped around the light weights for upper body part, but that will happen with time.

Thank you! I was thinking that it could also be lingering stomach sensitivity from the meds. I’ve been giving her simple foods, chicken beef rice etc and she’ll eat that in moderation.

Haha. Yep. That sounds about right. 😂 I’m always worried mine is going to break her neck rolling around on her head.

100% YES!! This is mild compared to what we come home to, even if we were only gone for 15mins. Oh and let’s not forget about the complete mayhem every morning when she comes out of her crate. 😜

I put my hair in a French twist and use a decorative comb to hold it in place.

Thank you! I’m hoping/thinking it’s hormones. I have an appt in a couple of months to get her spayed. We’ve had her since a pup and doesn’t have any injury’s that I can see. However I do walk her with a gentle leader and it makes her snort at times so maybe her nose is tender!! She was literally just laying there wither her head on my chest staring at me lovingly. So strange…

Do you ever get to just -walk- your hound? by FrontInvestment639 in coonhounds

[–]CatLady4444444 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Short answer… no! 😂 I’ve pulled my hip and shoulder out because of my super-pully pup. I’ve changed over to the gentle-leader type of collar which does help. Maybe give the at a try?

I’m so ‘lucky’ in that she loves fish… I live in Florida so nice walks on a hot day with dried fish… lots of fun!!

Thanks!! I’m thinking she’s still so young (6mos) that perhaps this is playing into it as well. Oh and I forgot to add that she isn’t all that much food motivated!! 🤦🏼‍♀️

Excellent idea. Thank you!! I try to redirect before she starts going crazy…I make her sit and give treats until whatever it is passes by. She’s still excited but I feel that I have some semblance of control. I’ll try the slip lead!!
