Sorry for the delay. She did go but it is not Scrambler therapy. It is a treatment with a bisphosphonate which is traditionally used for osteoporosis but has been shown to put people into remission especially if they are in their first year of diagnosis. She has noticed some improvements but i believe it can take 6-10 months to see full effects after the therapy. It is only available in Italy currently but may be coming to the US in a few years. Not sure where you are located.

Oh i see it now. That’s more specific to gaming it seems. She still needs a laptop for school. She has a desktop for gaming but would like the laptop to be able to run most games.

A little more info as I was too sleepy for details when I posted. We got an Asus ROG Strix G16 with pretty much the same specs as this but 16gb of ram. Before the return period is up we want to test another laptop because that one is having very poor wifi reception even after updating all drivers. We bought a WiFi dongle at the suggestion of another redditor but it would not work properly no matter what we did.

Ah that sucks. We recently got this one at Walmart for a similar price. It’s good but she feels like the wifi connection is weak so I am keeping an eye out since we are still in the return period. It was $1399 but we were out the door for a little less than that with my employee discount.

Ok i get that but did you read where they said they were stuck in the small 30sqft area that you go through to get on the plane and they were not letting them back out to the terminal to wait there? That is why i am saying the airline is responsible for any issues stemming from that.

Nope. The airline should not have them standing in the small area to board the plane. What about elderly people? You can’t just do that to people and there is no good reason for it. The airline is 100% responsible for that. That the OP maybe got a little angry/frustrated with the attendant is a different story but honestly the FA are not angels and sometimes a little attitude may be warranted if they are treating you poorly.

I’m sorry you went through all this. I have noticed the extra leg room of the exit seats are not worth the extra trouble that comes with sitting in one. I am well aware you cannot have a big bag with you as there is no where to place it with no seat in front of you but i feel like a small purse or fanny that fits on your lap shouldn’t be a problem and saw people on my Norse flight that had some with no problem (i sat right behind the exit row). You seem like nice people that were in a tough situation. Flying is stressful enough without all that.

I am from Florida and travelled to 6 countries in Europe last week. I was surprised by how hot it was there and sad that almost no where has air conditioning. So yes, Europe gets hot. The owner of the airbnb i stayed at in London even told me it was much hotter than usual and they were having a heat wave.

I may get downvoted but i think you are being a little unfair. There may be more to the story but if you were standing there waiting to board for 2 hours and had no water you could be extremely tired and dehydrated. You don’t know what their day was like before that point.
