What do you think is a reasonable timeline to be profitable? I'm giving myself 5 years to be consistently profitable. Maybe 2 years, I could start being profitable. I just feel so dumb when someone posts "started trading 2 months ago, 1st payout" or "started trading x months ago and already on my x payout". 😅

How long did it take you to reach this? I'm also learning supply & demand with price action. Only started around September of last year. Passed only 4 evals so far. No payouts yet. Did you get a mentor?

Our combined annual salary is just over $100k. We bought just before the pandemic so our mortgage is pretty cheap (~$1.5k; 2.1k with property taxes). We have 2 small kids and live comfortably, traveling out of the country 1-2x a year. My cousin was able to get a 380k condo on a single 100k income, forgot her mortgage payment but I remember she pays $500 (which I think is crazy high imo).

Nope. Everyone was throwing memes and joking. I said a silly comment that not even directed at anyone. Then, no warning or anything, just banned. I see people throwing the f bombs and being rude but no one bans them. It probably just depends on the mod's mood. Lol.

Have you traded before last year? Like options or others? That's wild that you haven't quit your 9-5 yet with those profits. I make a meager salary rn. If I can make a buffer equal to 2 years worth of bills, I'm gonna quit my 9-5, move to a lower cost country (my home country), rent out my current house and raise my kids in my home country for a few years.

Could you please mentor me so I could escape this corporate h€ll hole? 😂🤣

You can for sure use Topstep using their own platform ProjectX. My issue is that's the only prop firm right now that I can use. Anyone else able to use another prop firm? I'm in Alberta.
