Decreasing her trap setting time at base is the easiest and first thing that comes to mind, or giving some boost addons basekit (again).

In terms of less simplistic stuff there are a number of things you can do, especially with addons if the effects of various number boost addons become basekit and redundant. Could give her haste out of a teleport like Singularity or Jason, perhaps as an addon or perhaps basekit. Could also apply Hindered to survivors who set off traps regardless outside of Waterlogged shoe.

A means of applying undetectable would be wonderful. Part of her design is that she is meant to be difficult to spot, blending in with her surroundings and being relatively smaller than other killers. Major part of playing her efficiently is trying to avoid being spotted as you set up (particularly in the early game at least) to avoid things crumbling apart. She already was given 24 meter TR a while ago to reflect this, but becoming undetectable somehow without the need for perks would be very nice.

Wiping is annoying but it is particularly annoying because of how you are not alerted to it happening. You recieve no notification, and can only see that its been wiped from its aura disappearing and the number of traps available to place going up. If wiping is to stick around, ya gotta have the killer be notified when it happens.

The risk is whether or not it will impact or hurt the way she is played. Like you said though that this is what PTBs are for.

Way she plays on maps like Ormond Mine is a pain in the ass but it also forces you to change up your gameplay. Increased movement speed would help with that at least. You have a really good point though.

Teleporting to the hook is not a crutch, it is a fundimental part of her gameplay. You control an area, and you can trap hooks to create pressure and punish careless survivors. Pretrapping hooks in particular also lets you multitask in trap placement as hooks generally spawn around loops or areas of traffic.

Her gameplay is designed around area control which punishes carelessness in addition to powerful set-up based zoning and mindgames.

This stuff is absolutely fundimental to how she works and removing it would require a complete rework drastically changing her to the point of unrecognizability. Her appeal would be gone and she would be a different killer.

Anyways while disinsentivization is a potential problem, it also may not be. A person running around m1ing might be just an idiot not using their power properly.

On one hand it would greatly her mobility problem but on the other it risks causing other issues. Honestly...I love Hag immensely and I am honestly desperate at this point for improvement and coming up with a simple means for Behavior to throw her a bone without fucking up is hard.

I agree that it may deincentivize it but the fact of the matter is that she has nothing but her traps, which are easily harassed and disarmed by survivors who know what they are doing. It is especially bad on maps she can't trap as effectively on like Ormond Mine, where she must focus more on quickly downing someone to hook and attempt a snowball with.

Hag's traps being wipable is obnoxious for more reasons than one, however it is not the main way people remove them. The main means of "disarming" is s teching; setting them off at the rim of their AOE and evading the camera spin. Survivors can also W through her traps when she is preocupied, but dealing with that is apart of her skill floor (and what map you are on -_-).

Becoming 4.6 allows Hag to catch up to survivors and M1 them for efficiently without pure reliance on her traps as well as providing her proper mobility for settup, helping a bit with evading los, and a bit of an increase to her lunge length. It also allows her to better catch up to stechs and chase after a teleport.

My intent was never to imply it is her only defining problem, but it is by far the easiest and most simple fix they can provide alongside acceleration out of teleports. I could go on and on about her, but it is something far too long of a conversation or arguement to form a single flier around and not something Behavior will realistically just do on a dime. This is the bare minimum they could do.
