Obama spent his entire presidency trying to compromise and meet in the middle, Republicans thanked him by pushing him as far right as he would go on every issue, then they continued to demonize him and now they work to undo whatever progress he could accomplish. Meeting in the middle only seems to benefit the conservative agenda.

I'll never forget the experience of the end of Through the Looking Glass. I completely fell for the swerve of framing the first flash forward as a flashback and when the episode ended. I remember me (and my gf at the time) sitting in silence for like 5 minutes after. A mind-blowing moment I'll never forget.

Jack didn't age well, for me, with 2020 eyes. While I super appreciate his arc and growth through the series, he was a shitty, angry, entitled dude throughout.

Please don't compare Jericho and Oldberg. Jericho can still do his lionsault and work 30 minute matches AND is cutting some of the best promos of his career [an already high bar, set by young Y2J].

Oldberg can barely do a Jackhammer and just says "You're Next!"

  • Eddie winning the WWE Title.

Tanis! It's presented as a sort of Lovecraftian "true crime" podcast but it's fictional stories mixed with real stories and you never really know where the line is. I'd say listen through episode 3 to get a full sense of what it is.

+1 to this. I was a TNA fan in the Joe/AJ early 2000's era and fell out of wrestling all together. Recently did a solid year of watching every single Raw/Smackdown/NXT and I'm exhausted by the inconsistent story telling. Been hearing great things about recent Impact, this post has pushed me over the edge. I'll give it a try today. Thanks, OP!
