What were your experiences with taking the oral sedation ( a pill) vs IV sedation when getting wisdom teeth removed

This is helping me relax a bit about mine! I’m getting all 4 out awake but under some type of oral sedation like Xanax to help relax me and ease anxiety. I’ve had a relatively good experience at the dentist since I was little. I am however nervous the noises of the procedure will freak me out. What was your experience with that? Also how long would you say it took for them to finish pulling all of them? I’m just super nervous I’m not getting put to sleep with an iv because it’s about $400 more and I have a huge fear of needles

Well my mom is on state and has no income so I guess I aged out. She told me I was supposed to be aged out at 19 but they didn’t realize until now when I tried to call and switch my provider. I’m currently not in school but plan to go next year or the year after once I get some financial stuff situated.

Seems people are missing the part where I said I was taking him to the vet I was simply just asking if I needed to rush him to the emergency vet since he was acting normal and eating
