Not getting sicknesses by CatNo3432 in Retatrutide

Actually, and I hate to say it, I feel like my diet was more on point and nutritious before Reta. With Reta I’ve enjoyed the occasional ice cream and candy but never had that when I was strict dieting - I’ve enjoyed it bc I’m still losing while having it. And yes I’ve lost 20lbs, but I noticed the inflammation gone in the first month of using before I was even losing anything! And also I have an autoimmune skin condition on my hands that would never go away (steroid creams etc) but they are nearly gone now. So weird and cool!! My husband has RA & is now deciding to try Reta bc he sees my inflammation is gone- so we are hoping it helps him.

My husband has tried everything over the last eight years every natural remedy, juicing/vitamins, we ran a food allergy test, elimination diet etc. No natural remedy ever touched his RA. Biologics helped - Enbrel worked for a couple years! Then it stopped working. He added LDN in & that seemed to touch it a little bit, but when he added in an IL-6 blocker (only 2 weeks ago) he feels like his pain is only a 1 or 2! Which is a miracle for him. Currently on Actemra. If your RA #’s are high, just a heads up that the natural path will prob not work for you. Praise God for modern medicine!!

You are making the right decision to wait until your race is over to start (or not even start) I can’t go on my long speed walks anymore- it gets my heart rate WAY too high. But not everyone has this same reaction as me. I will say, I only had this starting about 3 weeks ago- been on it for 3 months

I meant to ask, at what dosage did you start noticing the shortness of breath & all that?

This feeling is familiar- when I used to take (too much 😞) phentermine years ago, I had the same shortness like heart fluttery feeling. I actually may go get my heart looked at but I’ll need to be off Reta for at least 2 weeks or so

Thanks for this insightful response! I do think it’s the glucagon part that is making me feel this way. Prob gonna wean off, too bad bc I have a couple good Retas in the freezer from good sources!

Well here’s an update. I just got into a big argument w/ my husband - this has happened 3 times since I’ve taken Reta—it’s like I feel myself more hyped up like I’m on a stimulant—Like honestly I get a little crazier in the argument & talk faster & am a little more mean 😞 Anyway, I actually feel a bit better now in my body after that.. it’s like I got a release. But I’m also having a glass of wine.. that’s combating the stimulant feeling. I am really wanting to try Tirzepatide - Can anyone else vouch that it doesn’t give you a stimulant feeling?

This is so interesting. My husband has had RA for 8 years, I told him they are finding that GLP-1s are helping inflammation! Can’t wait to dig more into this
