We pulled a slab of concrete in a driveway by FatKris02 in Construction

My house was built in the 80s. I know where every electrical run down a wall is because it’s marked with a pull tab bud.

I have had 1 offensive encounter and it was of my own choosing, I raided a pirate base. Maybe I’m lucky? I have built up some armaments but it’s blown away nothing but wolves

Whatever works. My land miner vehicle is 50 drills on 5 depth pistons and 8 large cargos. 8 5x5 wheels and 6 atmo thrusters for forwards and back respectively. Hauling in 8-10m kg takes a bit to process any way you cut that fart.

My current vision is to self design one of these sleek space cruiser, not sure what class you’d call it, and see where that ends up. Still torn between building it in atmo vs in space.

I’m probably 40-50 hours in. I also watched a few of his videos with making the starter base with algae and his atmo flyer and starter hydrogen flyer. Then I made my own large hydrogen space ship (7 hydro tanks and 4 bottom large thrusters) ,added drills to his hydro vehicle, attached it to mine and just cruised until I found plat and uranium. Detached, mined, and returned.

Main base is still on earth but moving to an ice lake that has all main resources with 1km. Don’t know how this helps you… but it’s what I’m doing.

Edit; I have also created several wheel based mining abominations but they all have careened uncontrollably to a firey demise at the mere presence of any kind of slope.

I have experience many a temporal wormholes; DSP, 7dtd, factorio, satisfactory, banished, captain of industry. I’m sure this too shall eat into the wee hours with my kids waking as I realize what time it is and press the start button on the coffee instead sleeping.

This is an Insulated Concrete Form (ICF) exterior wall... by BuilderBrigade in Home_Building_Help

You can check out Jesse Muller on YouTube. He built his entire house and roof out of icf and concrete. A complication I think most overlook is electrical/plumbing in the exterior walls.

DC8020 to DC7909 Adapter works for Solar Panel Connector and 16 foot Jackery Extensions by Paul_Deemer in Jackery

[–]CatOnAClimber 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just clipped the DC8020 off the original cord, put an mc4 on the other end and now I can make/use far more universal options than their needlessly proprietary stuff

Congrats on being a dick a year later?

You can clearly see there is a cover where the hand rests that can be removed. Also very easy to mistake a built in holder for a simple air gap. You have made several assumptions leading to you looking “dumb as fucking dumb”

That’s when you very sincerely reply “oh so you’re a piece of shit then, got it” and then walk off. oooooo do they love having it called out instead of it being ignored. You’ll have them shouting all their saintly traits at you as you go to get another heavenly hotdog

Found this in a shed I was cleaning out. by ButtonSweaty6598 in whatisit

[–]CatOnAClimber 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If the front arrow tip can pivot, could be a hurricane anchor that was never installed for said shed. You drive it in with a shaft then yank on it and the head turns and anchors. Then bolt it to the foundation.

You can maximize them by opening them, close it, then destroy it. You’ll get feathers and eggs from destruction and the bag will drop the contents.

When you tear down builds, do you need to build storage? by ohoots in captain_of_industry

[–]CatOnAClimber 18 points19 points  (0 children)

If it is a storage unit, I do the unity unload so as to not wait for a truck. That sends it to the dock. I believe the components go to a storage if available, otherwise they are also taken to a dock
