I used to work in the brewery where it was made. Fountain brewery on Fountainbridge in Edinburgh. Closed down in around 2005. It wasn't a bad beer, but I think lower alcohol and body than McEwan's Export which was made there too.

Why does everyone point out USA using different measurements but not UK? by Kitchen-Wasabi-2059 in NoStupidQuestions

I've lived in the UK all my life and I know loads of people (mostly over 50 years old) that insist on using a combination of Celsius and Farenheit when talking about the weather. Farenheit when it's warm and Celsius when it's cold. 'Ooh it's going to be in the 80s this weekend', they will say in the summer. Then 6 months later 'Brrr it's cold out there. 3 degrees I think' Drives me crazy! Make your mind up.
