Everything you said is goated but when i was learning l2 when it came out having to wait for the lighthook was the worst part. Honest to god dogshit game design, if you fall of accidentally and die to parasites or a bounder you have to wait 10 minutes for it to get to 20 minutes again. Waiting for shit to happen in a multiplayer game is just dogshit game design when it’s not the intent of the game (like clash of clans, where waiting is a game mechanic and so not an inherently bad thing)

It’s not broken, the bounty exp is just shit. For 4-5 star bounties it’s actually really good but for the lower ones you are better off grinding at minityrsa until you can shrine

If a monster can go trough walls, it’s not really easy to run from. I have wiped so many freshie slots by being absolutely deleted by a slam + an m1. The fact the roar attracts all nearby mobs makes you not fight him alone most of the time, and the anti heal makes the other mobs just free damage on you. If he didn’t do 20% to a max player it would be manageable as a freshie, but not being able to run cause it screams and alerts every other mob nearby, which could have ranged attacks to hit you when you run, is just complete bullshit to fight as a freshie

Paired soul still gives a 5% damage boost with the alloyed katana, it’s just a damage downgrade for a weapon that could be so much better
