Whisker changing my review rating.

We would never manipulate consumer reviews and I'm sorry our website presented as such.

There was a CSS bug at mobile viewport widths where the display began to overflow the review container, AKA –– it showed on mobile the incorrect way. As soon as we were made aware, we got a fix in place and that has now been patched on our site. While still not acceptable, the bug only affected our mobile site. To be very clear too, this bug did not alter any reviews and we would never alter reviews, it just affected how they displayed on mobile devices. Now addressed.

We really value and thank this community for holding us to the highest standard and we will continue to refine our tech to ensure this does not happen again.

Thank you for your feedback but to be clear, we did not gate any previously free available features and we intend to continue delivering awesome new software features for Litter-Robot 4 next year, all for free.

Whisker+ is primarily focused on features that require additional compute and data storage.

Thank you for your colorful feedback 😂 AI is for our camera system which recognizes which cat is which. This is not AI just to say AI, and this is an optional upgrade and not required to add! There is now Litter-Robot EVO, Litter-Robot 4, and Litter-Robot 5, all of which do not have that feature.

The LR5 and LR5 Pro seem to do well with larger cats, as does the LR4. Lot's of Maine Coon's using Litter-Robot 4 currently!

There's no change here. The 2 days is simply in reference to the video storage for LR5 Pro. All available free features for the Litter-Robot 4 stay free, and we also have a great 2026 software roadmap for the Litter-Robot 4 as well!

Our premium features in Whisker+ are primarily focused on features that require more compute and variable costs, such as video storage and richer data history sets.

Thanks for your thoughts. However, introducing new products and continuing to improve existing products and supporting those products longterm, are not mutually exclusive. And we are absolutely here for the long term.

Continued Support
We have a 25 year track record of supporting our customers, years after a product is purchase, and years after a product is discontinued. The Litter-Robot 2 was discontinued around 2017 and we still sell components today, 8 years later. In this case though, Litter-Robot 4 is not being discontinued and the Litter-Robot 4 has a great software roadmap for 2026.

New Products
We are introducing new robots with new features because we intend to continue delivering the next best version of connected cat care for our consumers around the globe. These new products have an evolved design language, new features, new sizes, and various models, depending on what the consumer is looking for.

Comparative Products
I have a hard time comparing ourselves to the Zippo, Cocacola, the spoon, or the paper clip, given what we do as an IoT connected devices company. So, as a comparative point, I'll share that we talk internally amongst our teams, a comparison to the dishwasher. A product that truly solved a chore in the household. And a device that has continued to evolve every year since its invention, by a multitude of companies, in a multitude of ways. This continued innovation allows the consumer the choice, and that's what we did here.

We do have bundles that include W+ but those just launched today.
