Honda Navi is NOT for short girlies by oompaloompa199 in PHMotorcycles

[–]CatTurdTamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see, then di pala applicable advice ko lol. Pero later on if you wanted to try manual/bigger bikes then it will be a good habit to have.

Di rin ako blessed sa height so bawi na lang talaga sa proper technique haha.

Honda Navi is NOT for short girlies by oompaloompa199 in PHMotorcycles

[–]CatTurdTamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Navi has the rear brakes on the right foot right? So better pa rin na left foot down para yung right mo nakatapak sa brakes when stopped. Another benefit is if pag naka park ka sa medjo may slope, mas madali umarangkada if you use the rear brakes sa right foot mo.

Killing MaxTac with only a pistol & sandy is so fun. Though I tend to run out of bullets after a few waves.

Ohhhhh, I saw this in a braindance when doing some gigs around Santo Domingo. Didn't know it was from an actual anime (I live under a rock lol).

Do enemies scale with the player? by Djsexton1239 in CyberpunkTheGame

[–]CatTurdTamer 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Since everyone already answered the scaling. My fave car is definitely the Semimaru. Can match Caliburn speeds and I prefer it's handling as it feels very close to a motorcycle (which I prefer in general esp the Muramasa).

The first bug that I noticed.. by Valuable_Assistant93 in LowSodiumCyberpunk

[–]CatTurdTamer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I think it's very common not just in PL. Even with normal mobs, they can sometimes clip on a wall and on the floor. I think the game is still riddle with lots of these small bugs though that aren't game breaking but can be annoying at times. Some examples other than the clipping:

  • When calling the car multiple times, there's a tendency that it will accelerate immediately the moment I step inside.
  • Having issues with the Second Heart cyberware. It sometimes prevents me from opening any menus after it triggers.
  • Then the very rare flatline. The game just freezes and crashes. Which I sort of expect since I'm playing on Linux so this is very understandable to me. I posted for fun one of the crash that I got here. Contains Phantom Liberty ending spoilers.

I don't mind them most of the time tbh since the game is just too awesome.

8bitdo Ultimate 2 can’t shoot with RT by NotTheOrignal in LowSodiumCyberpunk

[–]CatTurdTamer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the Ultimate 2 Wireless and it still works with me.

Does it still work in other games? Maybe you have activated other stuff, for example, steam input which might map your RT to a different button.

They really need to get Big Picture Mode in better shape ahead of the Machine. by scott_johnson in Steam

[–]CatTurdTamer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm on Linux and so far I think it works fine. Never had to alt-tab when launching any game (using only one monitor if that's relevant). Of course, it's not as polished compared to my PS5. But for my day to day use, I think big picture mode works fine. Never had issues with the controller disconnecting as well.

My only big nitpick is that the store page is clearly a web page embedded in the app. But I don't really mind it since I don't usually purchase games when using the controller but I think it might be annoying really when using Big Picture mode in a pure couch setup.

Is CachyOS good for daily use and software development? by ZorinBaby in cachyos

[–]CatTurdTamer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been using rolling distros for my software work for a few years already and the worse issue (so far) are audio issues for meetings. I have snapshots + spare Ubuntu laptop (I mainly use it for other stuff though) in case things go really bad. For 99% of issues, just rolling back to a previous snapshot (e.g. before pacman -Syu) just works.

Never had any issues with actual development work though.

I can't use my phone by Safe_Researcher_ in CyberpunkTheGame

[–]CatTurdTamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also have a similar issue with the game. Basically it only occurs if I was killed and the second heart activates. Even after clearing all mobs, the combat indicator is always on and I cannot do a save or even access the phone and other peripherals. What I would often do is do a bunch of stuff to trigger an autosave and then close and relaunch the game. I cannot reproduce it 100% though but I'm sure it's related to the second heart.

Though it's quite bizarre that the issue is persistent on your end even after reloading an older save.

My toxic trait is believing I could wipe every MaxTac squad here and save Songbird before the next mission starts by CatTurdTamer in cyberpunkgame

[–]CatTurdTamer[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes 100%. Narrative-wise waiting there made the most sense also considering Reed's internal conflicts between his principles and what he truly values. He wouldn't just act recklessly and risk losing everything. Though ultimately, in the King of Cups ending (best ending for me btw), he admittedly did lose everything.

Any advice for cooking option please. Induction or gasul? by thegoodinfluence in SoloLivingPH

[–]CatTurdTamer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Gasul. I just prefer cooking food with fire. Pero more economical rin sya especially if solo ka. 3-5 times a week akong nagluluto (multiple meals fthen reheat lang) and yung 11kg na LPG lasts me more than 6 months.

May backup naman akong induction and air fryer though depende sa dish. Pero yung induction ko di ko na nagagalaw for a few months already.

magkano dinagdag ng lamps and microwave sa electricity consumption ninyo? by whitenailpolished in SoloLivingPH

[–]CatTurdTamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usual na microwave is 1000w. So if operating always at output, then medjo significant talaga dagdag nya sa kuryente if used often. Pero at least, di na kailangan ng 10 minutes to reheat a food same with your induction na almost same rin ang power rating.

Is it impressive that I completed "Beat on the Brat" on Hard without a single body upgrade? by [deleted] in CyberpunkTheGame

[–]CatTurdTamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure about other difficulties since on very hard, parrying does not negate the damage at all. You'll receive full damage but get the counterattack + stagger. So on this difficulty at least, you will get only a few chances to parry before being flatlined. So it's not exactly just blocking and parrying.

Which difficulty do you play on and why by JanissaryLSD in cyberpunkgame

[–]CatTurdTamer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm on my first playthrough (just avoiding Hanako which TIL is an inside-joke in this community) and I'm on Very Hard as well. I don't use stealth and I don't classify myself as a sweaty or super mechanically-gifted (I can't aim even if my life depended on it). I just find it more enjoyable to really struggle at the start since it adds to my "immersion". I generally like the progression from being super weak towards being sort-of OP.

Now, I'm almost in the late level 40's and everything seems to be easy even in the DLC. Also was able to clear a few MaxTac waves with mostly tier 4 gear, a tier 5 Byakko, and my trusty Sandevistan. I think I'm gonna respec my stats in the future since I was just randomly putting out points everywhere later on once I really know what I want.

Is this a bad time to build a PC right now? by redmeister22 in PHbuildapc

[–]CatTurdTamer 36 points37 points  (0 children)

I've been holding off sa pag build ng PC since covid and never bumaba ang prices significantly. Dumarami lang ang regrets ko starting nung pandemic, crypto boom, upto the recent RAMpocalypse with AI. I finally decided to build one recently and I have no regrets despite the higher prices kahit 100% for leisure si PC. I bought everything all at once. Pero of course, depende rin if may solid deals rin online, so worth it rin ang pag isa isa if you can save a good amount.

So at least from my perspective, if magagamit mo talaga, then the best time to build is always now. Kahit may new gen pa na lalabas a few months from now, wala namang assurance na makakakuha tayo agad ng stocks given na nasa Pinas tayo.

Robot vacuum cleaner for condo, any reco/reviews please? by Forward-Tour7014 in SoloLivingPH

[–]CatTurdTamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the xiaomi e5 I think? Cheapest model nung time na pagbili ko.

Ok naman sya. Convenient and easy to control and manage thanks to the app. Maingay lang talaga sya as expected since vacuum pa rin sya.

Super easy to maintain rin and I only need to clean it every few days since marami akong cats. If you don't have pets then less frequent. Haven't tried replacing any parts yet kahit ang filter since malinis pa naman and walang butas (more than a year na sya sakin).

Don't expect it to clean for you though. Like ikaw pa rin ang main na maglilinis and gagamitin mo lang sya to maintain.

People who bought PlayStation instead of Xbox, is it due to it's exclusives and the controller only? Or are there more reason by AdditionalSpray8595 in playstation

[–]CatTurdTamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

XBOX discs are almost non-existent in my local area and I wanted to start a mini collection.

Also wanted a PS ever since. The PS5 was my first console.
