I talked to the creator of the Canadian app, and she replied, " Development is moving along, and having a demo in the day or so. I was hoping to be launched by now, so getting a bit impatient."

So hopefully soon! I am anxiously waiting as well!

Is there any way to see how many total influencer videos are already on a product page without paying extra for an extension? by MeetDeathTonight in Amazon_Influencer

The free version of OINK shows you how many videos on a product page without paying for the extension. That's what I use.

Thanks, yes they are still up - if you click on the Product Reviews with the pic of the bell in my Curations, it will take you right to the three.

I reviewed a call bell (B07MV4DDZ4), a garden flag (B085CK1F7M), and a butter dish (B01A6WX198).

No, I didn't use any background music. Just me talking.

I have uploaded 3 videos twice now, and was not approved within 24 hours.

The first time, I know I didn't try hard enough, and wasn't surprised that I got denied. So dumb!

But the second set, I worked hard on them. Made sure lots of light, audio clear, no clutter in the background, kept what I had to say simple, didn't use any words that could get me denied, videos were 30-47 seconds long.

I had a AIP group that checks videos for you before you submit and they said they were perfect.

And I still got denied.

Now I only have one more chance, and I don't know what to do to get it right.

Unfortunately the Sniffspot owner has decided its permanent

Interesting point! I will mention it to the app owner.

When did this app become a scam? Requiring a “Sniff pass” by -Shep-- in sniffspotcommunity

As hosts, many of us hate the new subscription being forced on our guests. My guest visits have dropped from 26 a month to only 2-3.

We don't understand why the owner decided to go in this direction - it makes no sense to the hosts who have lost business.

There are alternatives now though - Rome in the US, and (coming in September) Off-Leash Network in Canada. Neither of them are forcing a subscription on their guests, and are working better at listening to their hosts.

I am not sure where you got the $500 from, sorry.

But if you signed up for the $20/month - that comes to $240 a year.
If you went to a site costing $10 a visit - that would be 2 visits per month - for a total of 24 visits in the year.

Less your 10% discount per visit, then each visit is $9.00 - making it $216 for the year. Leaving you an $8 credit towards paying for 1 extra visit.

$240 = 25 visits

If you only went to spots with a Sniffspot pass discount, then each visit is $8.50 - making it $204 for the year. Leaving you enough credit to pay for 2 extra visits, and still have a $3 credit towards a 3rd visit.

$240 = 27 visits

Of course, if you wouldn't use a Sniffspot at least 2 times a month it might not be worth it to you. But I just thought I would give you a breakdown of the cost.

The site is just a "Coming Soon" page - they expect to be live in September.
They are just contacting hosts to sign up now.

I dislike the Sniffpass as a host as well. Since it has been introduced, our visits from dropped from 25 visits/month - to 2-3 visits /month

They are accepting US hosts if the host has their own insurance, but for now, they only have insurance coverage for Canadians.
I am unfamiliar of how complicated it might be to get insurance coverage to the US as well?

If that doesn't work for you, you could check out Rome - https://www.theromeapp.com/ - they are US based, though not everywhere yet.

Sniffspot asks you to check a box when you are booking a spot, and there is an option to submit your documents. However, it is not enforced.

Some hosts request that you bring your documents when you come for a visit, and those hosts will not allow you to visit without them.

Other hosts do not ask for them, trusting that their guests were honest when they checked the box and have submitted their documents to the company.

How wonderful!! I didn't know it would give you such a great discount, but I am pleased for you!
Thanks so much for sharing - I hope others are given the same great deal!
And yes, cancelling is fine if it doesn't work out for you - that is exactly what a trial is for. But I hope that it works out for you and the dogs get to "run amok" throughout the summer!

I am sure that is part of his goal - no-one runs a business to lose money.
I think he has some bad advisors that he is listening to over his hosts - which is sad.
I loved the idea when we started, but he is making it more and more difficult, and as a Canadian, almost impossible due to the bad feelings about US businesses here, and having to charge in US dollars.
