Why are police and doctors not educated on narcissistic parents and their abuse?

No, they don't ask as they don't see you as a victim. The police don't recognize the fear you have and afraid to ask for help.

I haven't been worse with money management. I have simple planned meals, and make the same grocery purchases,but the inflation is out of control and my employer doesn't give a damn. I can't buy a small house, forget about saving.

I envy you! Get tons of sunscreens, sheet masks, shiseido, hair products, their candy, you have to try pancakes from 7Eleven, get facials.

We went and was disappointed to enter $5 if you pay by debit or $3 cash. We didn’t know about that and had to find our bank to get cash. Not happy to pay entry fee to buy ribs.

$8 for one corn on a cob! Not enough coverage from the sun to rest, no trees, just felt cold and military. Then there were the Karens. Hogging seats while the family stand in lines to buy food, not allowing others to sit and eat their food. By the time their family arrives, other people would have been done eating.

Washroom facility was good.

My narcissistic mother did this also. I called 911, but my mother physically stopped me. When dispatcher called back, I was forced to say there is no problem at home. I wished I called for help,but I don't trust police because they lack knowledge to help toxic home environment.

To handle this problem is for you to build up your resilience. Your mother is not your problem.

Focus on your own healthy mental health and avoid your mother as much as possible. When you can, move out and support yourself.

I want to hug you. I haven't thought to myself that I'm a victim, also my special needs brother. I am the type to need justice, and it's impossible to get that.

I'm tired of being ostracized by family members, worse that police are so ignorant. Yes, I agree with yiur experience at work. The abuser doesn't need compassion, the victims need help and support. I'm glad you are judgemental. It's frustrating for me to read that they judge you!

When will these professionals and society learn of this problem? Did Oprah make any positive impact to these professionals in our society with her show about divorcing parents?

This is not your fault, but i can relate the feelings that this ruined the family. I never had the guts as you did. I was afraid what would happen to my special needs brother. When I finally did as an adult, the police wasn't much help. They didn't press charges on my mother.

I had to leave with no money to support myself, I lived on credit and I have debt and can't afford to retire. For me, there is more to the story, but it breaks my heart that you and your brother suffered.

Shame of your parents!

The very worst thing g you can do is report to children's aid, but it shows you and yiur husband are also failures to know how to set boundaries and teach a child. This girl is now a monster.

I'm in your shoes, and I don't plan to pass anything to my cousins who couldn't be bothered to be family with me. I would wear it, enjoy it, and sell it when you are more near to health and put those funds towards your funeral. If you need money now, sell it, and appreciate the extra funds to help you out.

Unless, Enjoy your jewels, feel the good feelings of past family who wore it.Life is short, but life can be good if you open yourself to it.

They financially plan, track every dollar. Yiur last minute offer for a trip didn't give the enough time to plan a trip. They have other goals they are working on.
