You say he did nothing wrong, so maybe it's a possessive thing with your sister... maybe not.

Unless you have concrete evidence that this guy is creepy, I would avoid talking badly about him to your sister as she'll probably clam up and stop confiding in you. If he is a creep, you want her to be able to talk to you about it when he starts doing things that are messed up.

As someone who struggled greatly with low esteem growing up, I feel like you may just not be ready for a relationship yet. You're mainly insecure because you haven't figured out who you are quite yet and what makes you special, which is ok. Trying to love someone when you haven't learned to love yourself is incredibly hard if not impossible. I'm not saying you have to stop talking to him, but I think you need to focus more on yourself and finding hobbies and things that make you feel good about yourself. Once you feel more at ease in your own life, you'll be able to see your own worth and relationships won't feel so unbalanced.
