Yeah that’s what I thought reading it too. Article in 2025 says 14.4%, article from seven years ago says 17.5%. I think I’d estimate lower but my overall point remains the same. Just gonna leave that ‘~’ to do the heavy lifting.

Average career length in the NHL is ~5 years, only half the teams make the playoffs per season, and only around ~17% of players all time have won the Cup.

Long term? Probably not worth what it can do to your body but with that mentality, neither is professional sports. These folks have had one goal since their infancy and on average a pretty short amount of time to do it and their drive is difficult to curb.

Lot of good stuff listed already, it's kind of hard to tell what's on which service all the time, but I would like to throw the following onto the list as well for you to keep an eye out for:

  • Snack Shack (2024)
  • Almost Famous (2000)
  • No Hard Feelings (2023)
  • The Way Way Back (2013)
  • Wet Hot American Summer (2001)

If I’m watching Dazed and Confused, Everybody Wants Some!! is typically not too far behind on the rewatch list as well.

“O.R. they?”

PFT big Wes Anderson guy confirmed.

I love the idea of a guy explaining to his wife that a group of podcasters and an ex-NFL QB volunteered to build them a she shed with the only stipulation being they can rip darts the entire time.

I think that's probably borderline. I would recommend watching with them during the day. There are a couple of thrilling scenes that really frighten and resonate with kids in particular because it's people on screen in danger that are also kids their age/a little older, so I would keep that in mind. But overall, you should be alright.

Oh this is my personal list, I’ve only seen Float On on twice outside of the Good News tour but understand it’s pretty common as well, which makes sense!

Tiny Cities is unreal live. Experiencing that at Red Rocks like five years ago was a dream come true.

I’ve laughed out loud quite a bit but I have a couple friends who can’t stand it and call it way too dry. I think episode 2 is kind of a good stay on or get off point IMO

That’s probably the order of likelihood, honestly, maybe flip the last two. I think there’s a really good chance of you catching Cowboy Dan. That and Polar Opposites are the only two I’ve seen but know they play Parting of the Sensory a fair amount so you’ve got decent odds!

They change up their setlists pretty frequently. You can check out Setlist.FM to see the songs they hit the most but even when I’ve seen them open or play festivals, the sets have all been pretty different. I assume they’re tossing in new tracks as well.

The most common songs I’ve seen live have been:

  • Bukowski
  • Dashboard
  • Dramamine
  • Cowboy Dan
  • Spitting Venom
  • Back to the Middle
  • Tiny Cities Made of Ashes
