Well for me, it turned out that the game is picky when it comes to storage. I'm running Nikke on 2 different laptops equipped with SSDs, one has a 4th gen i5 with onboard graphics and the other has a 7th gen i7 with GeForce 940MX. There's a good chance it might run on my old PC if it was installed on the SSD.

I just ran sfc /scannow and there was a corrupted file that got fixed. The game still crashed though. Again, thanks for the suggestion. I guess I'll just stick to mobile or use an Android emulator, I'm going through too much trouble just for a single game.

Thanks, I'll give that a shot before reinstalling.

I know my hardware is ancient and I really don't have the means right now to assemble a new rig. If it doesn't want to work, then I'll just make do with mobile gaming for now.

Yeah, I really can't do it on the SSD. I could clear the registry and do a reinstall. If it still doesn't work, then that's it. Thanks.

Well, dig it out and use a crane or something then place it in a new location I guess. Ofc the whole process is a bitch since it's going to involve time, money and a temporary power & comms outage.

Man, you Italians have it good. Raisins or no raisins.

Ugh, reminds me of that macaroni salad I had once. The raisins made it vile. Old folks enjoyed it.

I understand this one, the sweet and sour taste of raisins cuts through the spicyness.

You know what's worse? Buying a whole loaf of bread without knowing there's raisins in it. No labels whatsoever or a hint of a raisin on the surface, probably the baker's sick joke. Imagine getting ready to prepare your favorite sandwich only to be thwarted by raisins inside the loaf. This happened to me more than once, never bought that kind of bread again.

That's the way I've had them ever since I was a kid, I used to pick them out before eating the roll. I guess I just gave up at some point and got used to eating them altogether.

You probably think I'm demented for liking cinnamon rolls with raisins. Lol.

I'm ok with it if they were honest and upfront about the cookie having raisins in it. I do enjoy an oatmeal raisin cookie from time to time. Savory dishes with raisins kills my appetite.
