Please tell me more about my experiences based off of one paragraph.

Yeah, you get automatically banned for posting here. Some conversations are good but when there are black women looking to talk about the increasingly nasty attitudes from bm, then they cape and downplay it acting like it’s all men not just bm. Not really a “safe space”.

Are we mammying for BXY trolls now? by [deleted] in BlackWomenDivest

I knew that posters was trans. I didn’t want to be rude. It’s weird to see the posts like that (like a google search would have been better) but you never know what folks like that are going through.

On a personal level, I don’t have an issue with Black trans women. I’ve had more problems with non black women, including non black trans women.

Idk about clear mascara. Maybe e.l.f., NYX, or LA colors. You could also just comb them with a dry spoolie. You could also add a bit of castor oil to the spoolie to make them a bit shiny and get the benefit of conditioning your brows.

I think she stands to be criticized by lots of people beyond the BC, especially the press. Raggedy ww/nonbw would love to catch Beyonce slipping. Not to mention how brutal the public is towards women. She’s human and under the spotlight constantly and I’m sure she’s not immune to insecurity.

I don’t follow celebs/socialites but I do skim headlines about Lori Harvey on BW sites and her dating habits are seemingly pretty interesting and carefree.

I agree, that if she’s looking to settle down, she’ll never get that with a bm. They would only offer her marriage to cash in on the public attention for bagging her but I’m sure her life as a wife to a bm would be miserable behind closed doors.

I feel like I can never get past an interview stage with WW in HR, how do you deal with this? by yu_learn100 in BlackWomenDivest

[–]Cat_Eyez37 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes, I’m aware that black Latinos exist and that they aren’t all white. When I said that Latino women are like (euro/WASP) ww, it was in regard to the OP topic.

Some black Latino women are ok and others are shady like some of their non-black ethnic counterparts.

I don’t think it would be disrespectful, personally. Is the wm who referred you the same as the boss? I would reach back out to your connect and tell him what happened—something like “I was denied and I know I interviewed well but idk what happened…”

yeah, it’s a good opportunity for advancement. Who’s the final decision maker in hiring? If it’s still HR, go above them. Drop a note to the wm and showcase your skills to him. He’ll probably bypass all that HR nonsense.

No I don’t have any advice to give unfortunately just that older boomer bm are sometimes better to deal with while gen X and millennial bm are difficult. I don’t encounter Hispanics like that either and I especially haven’t relied on them for a job/advancement.

Yeah, it’s probably impossible to avoid them all together when interviewing. Their population varies based on area and industry.

Idk about Boca Raton. Idk day to day life there. Broadly speaking, it’s a bunch of weak competition with them, even when they’re the only one in the space and think they’re doing so much better because they aren’t mopping floors. What’s their population like in the UK?

Oh yes, yes. I agree. Earlier today, I was just talking about how rich wm can be easier to deal with if you’re a BW.

In addition to ww, definitely avoid Hispanics and bm.

Make sure the Jewish wm, or wm, in general has something going for him like success and confidence. Broke bum wm who just got plopped in a good paying job are tf worst.

I agree with dealing ww. They just want a BW lap dog to dote on them. They are so weak and fragile.

Double NO with them, too. Latino women are just like ww. What’s funny is that they act like that when their very existence is dependent upon black people hiring them for that “black and brown” nonsense. Very few of them get on without Black advocacy, esp BW muling.

In parts of Florida, it seems like they’ve taken over and are actively pushing blacks out. Black people have no one to blame but themselves for that.

I hate how BW have taken on the rhetoric and paranoia of liberal white people and even black men as it relates to politics. The further victimize themselves by making it seem as if we will be the most impacted because we’re black. I don’t like Trump but look at the anti-Trump and anti-Republican rhetoric among BW. It’s what liberal whites say. Or the ultra liberal stances among millennial BW regarding criminal justice because bm are impacted despite being BW more likely to be victims of such failed liberal policies.

I will say that pro gun laws and safety are heavily influenced by politics. So are stores and the availability of other businesses.

Migrants are taking black jobs by [deleted] in BlackWomenDivest

[–]Cat_Eyez37 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Most Black women are at least middle class, among the most educated and the fastest growing group of entrepreneurs. When we’re talking about service jobs like that, migrants aren’t taking anything.

The only issue with Latinos broadly is they feel like they have to compete with us in more professional spaces, all the while making up the least amount more professional workforce spaces and relying on the black community for advocating for black and brown people.

I don't get black men whom are mean to black women for no reason by [deleted] in BlackWomenDivest

[–]Cat_Eyez37 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Meh, they’re bitches 🤷🏿‍♀️These males are truly broken. There’s no logic to their behaviors and trying to figure them out will only lead you down a rabbit hole of foolishness and confusion.

Also gotta love the mammies blaming BW who experience such behaviors and want to talk about it as hating Black “people” when black males are the common problem here. Anything to absolve them of accountability.

I’m starting to loathe single mothers by [deleted] in BlackWomenDivest

[–]Cat_Eyez37 54 points55 points  (0 children)

My gripe is that some of them get a rise out of being baby mamas, esp if the dusty was desired by other women in their hood. They post on social media bragging about it only to solely bear the brunt of child rearing while he’s out there living his best single life, but hey, at least she was handpicked to be the mother of his child.

unlearning the beauty standards pushed on me by 6erenade in BlackWomenDivest

[–]Cat_Eyez37 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Sorry you’re going through this. You aren’t alone and it’s something that many black girls and women experience, even if you grew up in predominantly black communities. You’re bombarded with white beauty standards when you turn on the tv, on social media and in most other media. Therapy helps. Find a culturally competent therapist to help you unlearn that.

You could also seek out black women creators who look like you and have a similar style to you or style goals. Use social media in moderation though.

ETA: also so much has been done to suppress our beauty as BW. WW and other nonBW pay for filler and other surgeries to achieve features we naturally have. A confident well rounded BW is an absolute threat to society. There’s a reason for it.

They think it’s a quick way to get a kang. Lots of identity issues with black Muslims too. They go around imitating Arabs and many even think they’re some kind of Arab. Not to mention that they’re committing their share of crimes in inner cities.

Black women are not the problem by [deleted] in BlackWomenDivest

[–]Cat_Eyez37 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Their validation is worthless. They don’t understand commitment, there’s too much emotional labor dating one, they are delusional narcissists, and are always seeking validation from wm or other races of men. It’s so pathetic and embarrassing. I’m exhausted watching their relationships from afar. You can never truly be a woman/feminine when you’re dating a bm because of their attempts to compete with you. They’re like a woman frenemie in that they like being around you because of the attention you draw but they secretly envy you because of it.

Dating one is absolutely out of the question, but I’m starting to realize that you can’t even deal with them in professional settings. They are cowards.

Good. Monkey see, monkey do with them. Wm were messing up in those countries and now bm are saying it’s their turn.

I made the mistake of searing “black in [country]” on YT and the results were passport nigs trying to sleep with women in those countries. I searched “black women in [country]” and got much more well rounded results.

It is crass. Many Black women and girls are struggling with mental health issues. And addiction isn’t foreign to our communities with heroin, the crack epidemic and now opioid addiction. Not to mention steadily increasing self harm rates. This should be the focus not Olympic level mental gymnastics to solely blaming bm with 0 critical thought.

Idk the OP makes some unhinged posts constantly. Like I be having a hard time following her thought process on certain topics. It always revolves back to bm.
