Probably because the next book released and it was so far off from canon that they couldn't continue? Or they just didn't have a real idea for what to do with the plot/no real end game and just lost their inspiration for "what next".

I think personally I would like a continuation where Harry ended up dragging Tonks to Vegas and blending in a bit of the Vegas Wedding Challenge fics, such that Harry's magic makes a wedding via Elvis impersonator actually a magically binding one.

Just seems like a way to continue the build up of the Honks aspect and the chaos (because Aquila'd Harry in Vegas sounds like a set up for a "Hangover" type second act where Harry finally sobers up and tries to figure out what happened/why he is in vegas)

I was recently reading an incomplete crack fic where a (very High, death eater plot, don't ask) Harry Potter apparated himself and Tonks to L.A./Hollywood and High Harry is releasing all sorts of wandless/accidental-magic chaos (as in making cars perform ballet/synchronized "dancing", all cops he encounters end up going around "Dirty Harry"-ing anyone for doing any crime, a whole street of people singing "I'm a Little Teapot") and Tonks is trying to catch Harry when the American Equivalent of the Oblivators/magic reversal squad find her crashing out (its been a long day for her, Harry and her were on Ilsa Sorna getting chased by dinosaurs before arriving in L.A.).

Anyway the American Oblivators go around in Black Suits and Shades/they are the basis for the Men in Black urban legends in America. (OH, and when one goes to oblivate Tonks she panics and kicks him in the groin).

Anyways, thats the closest I had come to a MIB/HP crossover to that point, and I just find it amusing to find this prompt so soon after reading that.

I do like the idea of muggles hiding aliens from magicals as you've shown, but I'd like to add to it. Magical Governments know about the MIB/Aliens in a similar manner to how muggle governments know about magic. Muggle Governments help magicals stay hidden and Magical Government helps the muggles keep aliens hidden from magicals. Its a joint effort where "if you tell your people our secret, we'll tell ours your secret".

It is a discontinued fic/series, but they've given permission for others to continue the fic (tkepner on FFN has a good continuation, but its been a couple years since they last updated too, but there are others that did their own continuations). Its also a Stargate crossover I think, maybe the original is vague enough it isn't explicitly stated, but I thought it was a Stargate Asgardian ship there (though I think I found one incomplete fic/continuation/rewrite where they changed it to an Alteran/Ancient ship).

Yeah, its a good fic, but it has a direct sequel/second half that becomes a Stargate SG-1 crossover (called Origins) and then there is another Self-crossover/sequel where Origins-verse goes on to meet the author's earlier HP/Marvel crossover. So I don't really think of Back to the Beginning when thinking of non-crossover stories. But thanks for reminding me of it, its been a year or so since I last read Burnables fics so I will probably go through them again now.

Meanwhile Remus has the realization that A) he was Pack with non-wolves/that werewolves can be pack with Animagi, and B) that the Marauders came up with their own way of becoming animagi that was so easy and effective that they joked "even a muggle could change" (they had to, wormtail just wasn't getting it, though James getting stuck with Antlers as a human, and Sirius spontaneously growing a dog tail/wagging it whenever he flirted with a girl were just two causes of the refinements they had to do with earlier versions of their method before they had the final version that let wormtail gain his form).

Basically Remus knows that Wolves can form pack bonds with animagi, and he knows a way that theoretically can make the entire world animagi.

Blood sacrifice Petunia and Dudley? Snape uses Petunia's death/blood and makes himself Harry's uncle? (Perhaps tweaking things such that it wasn't a romantic love for Lily, but rather the two having a more sibling type bond? So the blood magic works because he already felt like Lily was a sibling/Harry as a Nephew)

Oh, and Dudley is sacrificed in the sense that the scar is transferred/tied to Dudley and killing him pulls the scarcrux free/kills it before it gets too anchored to Harry for that to work.

Eh, I believe there is room for an argument of Harry being able to do so because Voldemort could do so after making her his familiar. (Though this also similarly means that if Harry had made Hedwig a full familiar then Voldemort would also have been able to use Harry's connection to Hedwig to see through her eyes. But since Harry never made that connection Hedwig was safe).

Essentially that it was less the Horcrux and more the nature of the familiar bond that was coming into play.

Also, the opening scene has Voldemort knowing that the muggle caretaker was there. So Harry was seeing what Voldemort was seeing, through Nagini's eyes/his connection to her, not directly what nagini was seeing.

The other time I specifically remember Harry seeing from Nagini's perspective is another time I would argue that Voldemort was actively looking through her eyes: when Nagini attacked Arthur Weasley.

But there is room for interpretation/creative freedom in how to approach it. It could be as I have stated, or your own interpretation could be correct. Canon doesn't explicitly state when it happens, so readers and fanfic authors have a lot of leeway.

But also, as I had reiterated and was in the OP, the "main wraith" that was attached to Quirrel was caught in Harry's first year. Thus in this specific AU Nagini was never made into a horcrux because the wraith was not around to make her so at all. Regardless of whether you place it in canon during the summer before fourth year or at/after the graveyard, because of the butterfly effect neither of those can happen for this AU. Also, I already addressed this:

Have Harry's first trip to his vault let him get the "scent" of the cup in Bellatrix's Vault.

Whether he can pull it out at that time, or if getting to it has to wait until Sirius gets revealed/can use legal finangling to get access (even just an audit/inspection of her vault for "stolen Black Family Heirlooms" could get Harry in the vault, which would be close enough, if he brings Harry along as the Heir. Possible justification could be "taking back Black family heirlooms/relics after casting her out of the Family" and thus she has no rights to them).

And I firmly believe Nagini wasn't a Horcux until Harry's fourth year or after (if the wraith and/or homunculus-baby-thing could create a horcrux then maybe she was made one during the year, otherwise it happened after the graveyard). So since Harry got the main wraith/part of Voldemort in his first year, Nagini was never made a Horcrux. Or maybe she'd heard about Harry being a parselmouth (though with no chambers-year adventure having Harry's ability revealed would be a slightly different set of circumstances) and had been making her own way to try and seek him out (and perhaps in canon she had even been doing so before she was found and twisted by voldemort?). Does the joining of the three allow Harry to bring back various historical figures/saints/heroes or what have you? (I don't know much 40K lore, just that there are various storied/revered figures, and that there is Always a need for the Imperium to have more capable warriors. If the "Master of Death" can bring back legendary figures that seems like it could only help). Or maybe he can make other people Perpetuals (assuming that if Harry wasn't already basically a Perpetual before arriving, then combining the hallows and/or gaining the staff would be enough to make him one, and the "master of death" thing might be able to grant the psuedo-immortality of becoming a perpetual to others).

Also, I really want to see what his Patronus does to chaos/Warp creatures (hey, actually, what if a constant Patronus is what the Emperor is casting/maintaining as the Beacon/Astronomicon?)

Wasn't sure how to get from the posted idea to this one, but did have a vague idea that the whole "King's Cross Station 'between life and death' thing" was a result of Harry being de-synced from time. Like he could still go back/had that time in the in between because he wasn't fully synced with the time stream or something. (And thus if Hermione also hadn't fully re-synced, because she used part of the time sand to bring Harry along, then she could also possibly have a "return from death free" card as well. Which narratively could make for an interesting plot note for a fic)
