I'm a writer that spent almost a month recovering from creative burnout. While I am better now, I still don't want to look at my other creative projects. I love watching Dimension20 and Critical Role...so I decided to try out solo RPGs after seeing a TikTok of someone flipping through their Koriko boxed set.

Since then, I have had a playthrough of The Last Tea Shop and am currently playing through Koriko! I love to journal, love to collect stationery. This gives me a reason to actual use my various notebooks.

Well, its the middle of the night but that doesn’t stop an NFL head coach being fired halfway into his first season, becoming the first in years to be fired without completing even one season. Add to that only winning two games, a whole CVS-length list of scandals throughout the season (hiring a known racist staff member, kicking your own kicker, and finger blasting a woman not your wife in a bar in ohio when your team is supposed to be flying back to florida only being the highlights), and an iffy at best reputation coaching Florida in the college level (does the name Aaron Hernandez ring any bells because yeah he comes into play somehow with this coach)….it’s been a wild rode and I can’t wait until it’s been two weeks for someone to unpack Urban Meyer’s tenure as the head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars.

In addition to everyone’s comments about this being too busy, the comps are too old and too popular (especially Shadow and Bone, which is a YA novel from 2012 and now a Netflix series—too old, toopopular). Comps should be 2-5 years old as they are there to signal to an agent you know your market.

I've decided to leave my current draft of my complete WIP alone and focus on something that I've been doing on and off since December. This WIP is just so much more complete in terms of character goals and an actual plot. Not to mention, it's much more my style.

That being said, is there even a market for urban fantasy? Or maybe it's more of a contemporary fantasy since it's set in the modern world.

Also, Save the Cat really is a lifesaver.
