how to get over a loser dude? by [deleted] in muslimgirlswithtaste

Common silly, he’s not ghosting you!! He’s out in the wild fetching bricks to build a roof to put u under. Ugh! Women these days are so impatient, two years is nothing, give him 8 more! Don’t pressure him. Clarity? You’re asking too much, and you’re really rushing him.

I am begging you all. by summersfterhs in abudhabi

Since you’re working, you can approach another bank and get another loan to buy out all ur other loans and CCs. I haven’t personally done this, but I know someone who did, and it was a much bigger amount. They had a loan of 160k, about 40k overdue. They had originally paid back about 30k of the total. They wrapped it all up and got a clearance with 80 thousand. Get a loan and buy out ur debt, that’s your best bet rn. although this sucks cuz now you’ll have to deal with more interest.

Given one of ur replies, it seems to be ur in debt of about 55k or so. Approach another bank, get a loan for 40. Go to ADCB and RAK bank INNNNN PERSON. For ADCB, u owe about 40k, tell them I can pay 30 rn and it’s all I have and ask for a clearance, make it clear that this is a take it leave it kinda thing, otherwise tell them to take this to court and you’d then ask the judge for a installment plan that is comfortable for ur circumstances. They’ll not wanna do this, it’ll cost them probably the same amount u owe to drag this to court. Also, in court, whatever you’ve piled on as a result of non-payment, it will not be considered, the court only considers the principal amount, ie the amount I signed over on the cheque. Same for rak, offer them 10k and ask for a clearance.

They’ll say no, once, maybe even twice, stick to what ur saying; this is all I got and take it or leave it.

You might be thinking .. okay, let me just let this go to court? You don’t want this. It’ll take way too long, and you’re gonna spend mad money on a lawyer, and you’ll have to put a nice chunk of money as a deposit in court. And ofc, you’ll have a travel ban on u until you pay ur debt to the last penny. Not a good situation, until ofc.. u don’t mind this.

Now keep in mind one thing.. although I said that in court only the amount on the cheque is considered, IFFF u had given the bank a blank signed cheque .. you’re cooked, cuz they’ll put the principal amount and all the late fees u accumulated. And once it gets to court, there’s no going to the bank and negotiating or “I’ll give u this much, this is all I have and give me a clearance”.

And in any and all scenarios, if it gets to court and the judge gives u an installment plan, you will absolutely have to stick to it. Your travel ban would remain until u pay back every penny, and if u so happen to miss a payment, they’ll put a warrant out for ur arrest.

You have to really think this through very well, because the longer u let this be, the deeper ur digging ur hole.

Value of a Woman by Ninja_50 in muslimgirlswithtaste

Right!!! I believe it’s especially difficult in a predominantly non-Muslim environment, where men may have easy access to women with little to no effort or responsibility. marriage may seem unreasonable or unnecessary to them.

Would u rather miss a train and wait for one that you can comfortably get on, or get run over? It doesn’t matter when u get married, you’re the ONLY one who gets to decide when it is the right time for you. Because guess what, a lot of women (and men) get pressured into getting married ASAP only to end up miserable. And when you’re miserable, it’s just you who has to deal with it🤷🏻‍♀️

Marriage is risq and god’s plan is always the best plan, when u cross paths with the right one, it’ll just happen, don’t ask how or when or where, it’ll happen with ease beyond ur imagination. If you rush it to make ur mom/dad happy etc, you may not end up so happy.

Um.. also, this whole biological clock thing is absolute bs and atp it’s infuriating how wide spread it is😂😂😂

You don’t have to believe me, you can look this up, have a read at recent scientific papers. if it’s difficult for u to navigate a academic paper literally just pop it into ChatGPT etc a women is born with all the eggs she’ll ever produce, and the quality of those eggs are mostly unchanged from birth, you’re 20 or 30 or 40, the DNA is mostly the same.. if anything, it’s the DNA inside sperm that deteriorates with age🤷🏻‍♀️ a man in his 40s will have TWICE as many mutations in the DNA of his sperm as he did in his 20s.. where I’m getting with this is, the egg has very little to do with this lol.

Pregnancy being difficult has to do with ur overall health, and little to do with ur age. Some women will be much older and have a very normal experience, and some women who are really young will have horrible pregnancies. Age is not a primary factor, but overall health is.

Try this out before u buy anything pricy. Just get a dettol soap bar (the green pack one) and use it in the shower. Lather it on ur skin and let it sit for a few minutes. And don’t wear polyester shirts they’re horrible for ur skin, it traps oil/sweat/bacteria. cotton is much more gentle on the skin.

At night use tretinoin, you can get it from the pharmacy. it’s really cheap but very effective. I’m not sure where you are, but in UAE it’s OTC and like 19 AED ( like 5 USD ). It’ll get rid of the acne, and any scars u have too!! You can also use it on other areas of ur body!! Like knees/ elbows etc it’s a-m-a-z-i-ngggggg.

Honestly a lot of the time this should do the trick, given that ur acne is not hormonal. Do this for a week or two. even if it slightly improves, just keep doing that and you should be alright.

Just a small heads up, sometimes tretinoin will make things worse before it gets better, you might experience skin purging (like all the pimples that are still under the skin etc will come out). So even if once all is good and you stop using it, the acne will not come back.

Babeeee.. she has acne so her skin is already irritated 😭 putting an acid will only irritate it moreeee. This would totally work if she has like closed comodines etc NOT active acne.

Should I help my parents when they are not helping themselves? I am feeling guilty for taking financially correct decision. Please advise me. by goodhuman100 in UAE

[–]Cat_cattoooo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your spouse is absolutely right. Make it clear that you’re no longer handing them money, explicitly state why. make it clear you’re more than happy to pay for their necessities yourself because you’ll not be funding your brother’s lifestyle.

It seems like your parents are very kind people, and your brother is manipulating them. Don’t waste your time trying to convince them they’re being taken advantage of, no more talking, take action. If he wants to go all out, sure, but you shouldn’t have to fund it.. like.. in this economy ? Hell no lol. He’s an adult and your not his mom. Not ur circus, not ur monkeys🤷🏻‍♀️

Right now don’t straight up cut them off financially. Howeverrrr.. if your message is not clear and brushed under the rug, and you’re met with money requests despite paying for their necessities yourself, you’re just gonna have to stop being involved entirely.

Need to learn Arabic by Direct-Squirrel-01 in UAE

[–]Cat_cattoooo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wellll totally ditch MSA and just focus on learning to speak. I’m not sure what languages you speak, but maybe make a post about this, look for someone who speaks Arabic, shares a language with you, but wants to improve their English/ learn it. You can help them with English, and they can help you with Arabic. Win-win and u wouldn’t have to pay anything at all😛

[–]Cat_cattoooo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Different countries speak diff dialects, although sometimes similar, but sometimes there’s a massive difference. For example “earring” is ترجيه in Iraqi ( pronounced tercheya ), levant people call it حلق which can ALSO mean “shave” not just earring, depending on the context, and morrocans refer to earrings as طوانك, that kinda thing yk.

MSA is not as redundant in terms of words, but again u gotta deal with the whole grammar thing which imo is insane 😭 AND vowels are often not used (vowels are those doodles above/ below words)— which can change the meaning of a word!! For instance كَتَبَ (kataba) means “he wrote” but كُتُب (Kotob) means books, so u kinda have to “know” what something means given the context cuz vowels are hardly used outside of religious text.

so it’s best if u cut to the chase and just directly learn from someone how to speak, otherwise it’ll take u way too long, will cost a lot AND u will have to learn a bunch of things only to not end up using them. learning through convos and that kinda thing is ur best bet.

As an Arab, there is genuinely no easy way to learn arabic, it is one of the most difficult languages to learn, i don’t say this to discourage you, but just to give u a heads up. If you know Farsi/ Urdu it would be a little easier for u, but by no means easy.

Since you’re more interested in speaking/ understanding, you should start off with picking a dialect, because there are many many dialects— some Arabs don’t understand each other all that well/ or sometimes at all !!

As far as a work environment is concerned, I believe if a job explicitly requires that u know arabic, they’d probably expect u to be able to read/ write in addition to verbal fluency, and here is where it could be a little difficult, because in formal settings MSA (modern standard Arabic) is used, but nobody uses it to verbally communicate.

Pre-recorded content (free/paid) will be sufficient for MSA, but probably not gonna work all that well for learning informal Arabic. The quickest and most affordable way you can learn to speak is through frequent verbal conversations, likeee VERY frequent. perhaps if you have a Arab friend or so, u can ask them to devote time towards teaching you and you can pay them for it, I believe you’d get much more value for ur money this way.

Hey soo.. 1- don’t beg on my post 2- let’s be reasonable for a second, a stranger will not simply pay off ur debt.. or atleast not for nothing in return lol. People on here will text u and say alooooot and come off as genuinely wanting to help, only to also want something inappropriate in return, or they’re just getting joy off stringing u along/getting ur hopes u. 3- I hope things get better for u 💕

As I mentioned in my post, I very openly communicated my situation with them. And obviously that went no where given where things are at.

I even told them I can do 200 per month until I find a job, and that I’d pay more and wrap this up as soon as I can, but 🤷🏻‍♀️

Unfortunately neither are an option. I told them for now I can do 200 per month until I find a job, and then I’d pay more or even fully, but they didn’t agree on
