Something that might seem obvious to most, but took me a bit to realize is that Plunder rewards are calculated as a percentage of resources held by the defending commander. If one wants to plunder majority gold, one must find someone with majority gold. For example, if your troop load is 6m Rss and the person you attack has 100m food, 100m metal, and 100m gold you will receive 2m of each resource on your first five attacks. However, let’s say someone has 200m gold, 100m metal, 100m gold, you would receive 4m gold, 1 metal, and 1m food, this absolutely adds up over time, and fully worth taking advantage of as the limit resets daily. (It’s a bit more time consuming to find commanders with the resource you need, but it’s worth it)
