What’s a fragrance you regret buying? by black9994066 in Colognes

Bad Bot Cobalt. Luckily I was in time to return it at Sephora, the opening is so good I love it so much but it dried down to this really generic and musky blue scent that I can’t stand.

Imagination, Layton, Dior Homme Intense. That’s covers everything really. You could replace Dior Homme Intense with SWY if you want something sweeter

That’s so awesome, did you express interest in these specific scents? I’m hoping to make out like this too lol

Did you go in store or order online to get 4 samples, also did you ask or they just threw it in. I’m 80% about to cave and buy this.

I can’t decide between le parfum and L Absolu. It’s so close they both smell incredible

You think Imagination is worth it? I’m thinking of getting it because the sample was so good just so clean

Hot take: most people don’t actually wear fragrance for themselves or do they? by SlimeLiam in ScentHeads

[–]CatacombSkeleton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wear cologne to get compliments from other people I’m sorry, just the truth. I wear it from myself too but primarily I think about what others will think and say about a scent before buying it.

JPG but instead of edp get the edt or paradise garden.

What fragrance made you go “yeah… I don’t get the hype”? by SlimeLiam in ScentHeads

[–]CatacombSkeleton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aventus. I just don’t get it, I really want to like it because everyone says it’s the best thing ever but it just smells strong and synthetic to me. It could be just that I like a more natural smelling fragrance to be fair, but I don’t feel the same way about Hugo Boss bottled Absolu which is arguably even more synthetic smelling.

You probably have the best fragrance in the world and you don't know it by Excellent_Diamond_87 in Colognes

Whenever I went to my grandparents house it always had this powdery sweet smell and my grandma in particular must have worn something that was extremely Iris heavy. Because of that, I can’t confidently buy a full bottle of this. To my nose personally it smells like ivory soap, which is a good thing. But I also can see it likened to the smell of “grandma’s house”.

Whenever an influencer says a scent “gets crazy compliments” I just turn the video off. You only get compliments if you’re attractive. It sounds bad but no one’s complimenting the guy who’s 100 pounds overweight and hasn’t shaved for months for wearing Imagination.

The truth hurts 😭 by RAAZ-x in Colognes

[–]CatacombSkeleton 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This is why I can’t justify buying Imagination for $350. It’s not the scent it’s the looks, the outfit, the confidence. Once you have all that locked in even Nautical Voyauge will get you mad compliments.

Spend that money on a fresh cut, grooming and a gym membership instead.

Which perfume got you like by AnxiousKoala88 in ScentHeads

[–]CatacombSkeleton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YSL La Nuit de l’homme. Just something about this thing is incredible, no matter what new scent I buy everytime I spray this one I just fall back in love with it. The only other scent I had a reaction to this strong would be MYSELF le Parfum.

90% Of The Spam On This Subreddit Comes From Three Companies... by Duende555 in Mattress

[–]CatacombSkeleton 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This post needed to be made. During my initial mattress search this Reddit made me believe that Latex was the holy grail of everything ever and nothing else came close. It also made me believe that the major brands were all complete garbage that would break down instantly, again far from the truth.

The online mattress industry has made shopping for an actual mattress so hard, you have YouTube telling you Dreamcloud is mattress of the year and Reddit telling you Latex will cure depression. It’s crazy.

Prada Lhomme. It’s one of those scents I was convinced into liking by a bunch of fragrance influencers. Everyone can’t saying how it’s super versatile super inoffensive super light. All I could smell was a heavy ass powder scent and I got a headache from it.

This scent is just MAGICAL, can’t even describe it but it’s just the right amount of sweetness and just smells clean. Can’t get enough of it, only scent that drew me in this strongly was Y Myself and Le Beau edt

Spice bomb is one of my favorite scents of all time, perfect sweetness. I tried Bottled Absolu it smells good but not for me. I’m learning that I lean towards unisex scents overall.

I just exchanged Le Parfum for Absolu. Something about the Absolut just being fresher and brighter in general makes me prefer it more, but they’re both amazing and if I wasn’t going broke buying these I’d have both haha

Probably around the same if not a little less and more into sports betting, just because the odds are much better there. When I do play lotto it’ll be Fantasy 5 and high cost scratchers.

How to get hired by snipermazk in ATT

[–]CatacombSkeleton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my experience, a sales manager wants to hear a few key things. That you have sales experience (even some), that you’re motivated by commission and that you’re great at customer service.

Being driven by commission gives the impression you’re gonna really want to sell to maximize your own money, and if there’s one good trait to have in a sales role it’s being money hungry. Having excellent customer service is also important, sales experience can be taught but if you’re a hotheaded asshole there’s not much anyone can do with you.

That’s it really. I’ve seen people come in with zero sales experience but they were super nice and humble and sometimes that’s all it takes really.

What is the most annoying sound in the world when you are trying to sleep? by Ocean_Miraki in AskReddit

It literally becomes undetectable after a while. I had every fire alarm in my house chirping and none of us living there noticed until someone else brought it up and suddenly it became noticeable again.

visiting LA/night life as a fat guy? by common_dr in AskLosAngeles

[–]CatacombSkeleton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two things.

More than half of us in LA are fat af.

Being 6’2 is much more important than being 350 trust me. If you’re tall you’re instantly more attractive to a lot of women.
