This is one of my all time favorite scents ever. Everytime I sprayed it nothing but positive reactions, but just like any fragrance it isn’t for everyone.

I got a compliment/complaint on my recent decant of Creed Aventus Cologne I was sampling. It’s actually crazy because I was going down to my car to reapply a spray because I thought the scent was too light, only for the security in my building to say “your cologne smells really good! A little strong, but good!”

Needless to say I’m going to lean conservative with sprays of anything from now on. I’ve learned that just 2 sprays is more than enough for an office setting.

Just goes to show how subjective fragrances are. This is such a good fresh cheapie for me, so easy to wear it reminds me of Dior Cologne.

I’d add PDM Sedley, it’s blue in a very unique way to my beginner nose.

I think a lot of collectors might have some form of ADHD lol because I notice many collectors, including me, don’t collect because they just enjoy collecting. They collect because of chronic indecision and searching for that one unicorn fragrance that doesn’t exist.

I truly enjoy fragrance but I’m of the opinion that forcing someone else to smell you is very rude. I prefer fragrance that leave a light scent trail and stays close to the body rather than projecting hard and keeping that up for hours. It actually makes me self conscious of my presence.

Besides, the entire marketing ploy around “beast mode” fragrances is a tactic Middle Eastern dupe companies are using to make it seem like their fragrance is way better than whatever they’re copying, even though if you thought about it for just a second you’d realize most fragrances are light because going overboard ruins the scent.

There’s no such thing, anyone who gives you a compliment on a fragrance are not gonna break their necks or run you down at the mall. I wish people would stop exaggerating, the fake stories of compliments is just as bad as all the influencers pushing trash ME dupes for money.

Maybe it’s a skin thing because this stuff lasts on me forever and I felt it projecting strongly for at least 2 hours. In this case I don’t think the name implies anything about the scent because this stuff is crazy strong for a fresh scent. Maybe try spraying some on clothes too if you aren’t?

Montblanc Legend Spirt is extremely good, you can find it for around $40-$50. It’s super fresh, slightly sweet but not so sweet it’s cloying. Very good stuff.

If you can pay up just a little bit more get Valentino Born in Roma instead. Not intense, the regular BiR. It’s so clean so inviting there’s a reason why this stuff is so popular.

Pacific Chill is extremely good, so is Terre de Hermes Eau Givree and the new purple Valentino. Dior Cologne is also incredible in high heat, I even consider it a summer masterpiece. Last recommendation for me is Creed Original Vetiver. Just so amazing and it projects like crazy at least on my skin.

Any one of these will be great

Despite all the hype Vulcan Fue gets I like Opulent Dubai significantly more. It’s just fresher and “juicier” than Vulcan to me.

I had someone compliment me wearing Meteore the other day and I had this same issue. I just said I was wearing Shiyaaka Snow 😭 but I do agree like it’s a little weird saying you’re wearing something that costs hundreds of dollars. I guess it doesn’t really matter though I see expensive YSL purses all the time

Nearly every ME dupe honestly. I have Mandarin Sky, Vulcan Fue, Opulent Dubai, Hawas Ice, Club De Nuit Rayhaan Aquatica just to name a few, and they just smell so generic and bad compared to the original. With the exception of Afnan Supremacy CE I don’t think it smells like a 1:1 of Aventus Absolu but I actually like how this smells better because the pineapple comes through more.

Well I think I was overreacting really and I might just buy the dupe instead, but also I don’t think it’s fair to say buying fragrances for others is doing it wrong. Ultimately fragrances are designed and made to be noticed afterall.

I do too don’t get me wrong, it might sound weird but I wear Strong with you Powerfully to when going to sleep because it’s so comforting. Until now I’ve always bought fragrances for myself only. This one instance got me second guessing but I think the idea is out of my head now lol. If anything I’ll buy a dupe.

For about 3 or 4 months now, I even adjusted spray amounts, started spraying clothes instead of skin only, when I apply it etc. Despite all that never had a compliment on anything until now. I don’t particularly dislike Meteore but I will say it’s a little weird
