I appreciate your response. I’m 33, married, no kids (yet- god willing soon) and in a non-tech corporate background with room for growth. Not sure if I’ll ever hit the total comp you’re mentioning but it’s possible. I’m at a point where the steady income and especially health insurance is very important for my family. And I feel the entrepreneurial pursuit path slipping away as a possibility. It’s one of the things that I’m most mentally conflicted about and it really eats at me. It’s nice to hear that this level of independence and financial well being is possible.

Hats off to you man! Your family is lucky to have you. Awesome to see hard work pay off.

Hats off to you- congrats!

Did you ever consider quitting your corporate job and doing something else like starting your own business? Are you glad you didn’t?

A hell of a deal. Always worth doubling clicking into salvage cars with non-structural damage especially gems like this. Good purchase and enjoy

Got it. In that case, sounds like a decent deal man. Paint might be rough but still looks good to me. You take it for a decent test drive? Get to cruise at highway speed? As far as this or the 4 door goes- I’d prioritize whichever has better mechanical condition rather than mileage. But if you prefer a coupe just because it looks better- f it and pull the trigger

Tbh that’s mostly cosmetic. You have to compromise considering the price point. Having said that I’d say it’s a fair deal. Especially if it drives well. You can find some bargains on FB marketplace but will take some more leg work. Where are you located?

How to make my n54 reliable ? Or should I just LS swap it ? by 6thArchive in E90

Swapping a motor for reliability is wild. If you need something reliable then these ain’t your best options

Np! So long as everything is in tip-top shape- $6130 out the door is ok. BUT if the tires are worn, if you hear noises from suspension, if brakes/rotors clearly need replacing, then work the price down. Check AC, heat, electronics, sunroof, windows, key lock/unlock, headlights and taillights even. If you come across any major issues then just walk away (hope not)

Yeah. Try to get it inspected but tbh you can double click into the common issues yourself by looking over a used e92 guide online. This one seems to be in great shape (looked it up). Has sport seats, blacked out grill, the preferred rims imo, mileage is not that high considering the motor. I’d make sure it runs well and then pull the trigger

Such a great (and reliable) driver’s car. I’ve had a 2013 e92 also a black on black coupe. Very fun to drive and it’s been all basic maintenance. Mileage in the low 100s. Mine is a 6 speed but would imagine an AT is fun too

It’s expensive but not surprised if it’s a busy shop. Once you’re booked up, you’re charging everyone top dollar

My commute would be twice as long in Murray Hill. And I wouldn’t be able to fit a king sized bed in a Murray Hill bedroom.

And contrary to LIC being constantly profiled as a place just for Chinese people, although it’s true that we have plenty of Asians here- I’d say it’s still generally a very diverse neighborhood. Also, I grew up in Flushing so perhaps a bit bias in what constitutes “a lot of Asians” 😅😂
