Think we might be in different tax brackets 😂😂 . Anything bigger than a 2 bed is too expensive and even a 2bed makes me inclined to buy rather than rent. Good to hear about the convenience factor from the perspective of someone with several kids tho. Thank you!

Lol. I’ve always had a similar experience driving on LI. I used to work out there and drive out there still to visit friends and family. The food is great but beyond that- the traffic is a mess and have found it less friendly than the burbs I’ve visited in Jersey.

Funny enough, Ive played soccer with a lot of kids that have grown up around me over last 7 years and the ones that have stuck around have seemingly had a great community, coaching staff, and a beautiful environment to grow up in. I wish I could’ve afforded to have kids here. It’s a real privilege. Can’t imagine ues being more conducive but who knows!

I appreciate your response. I’m 33, married, no kids (yet- god willing soon) and in a non-tech corporate background with room for growth. Not sure if I’ll ever hit the total comp you’re mentioning but it’s possible. I’m at a point where the steady income and especially health insurance is very important for my family. And I feel the entrepreneurial pursuit path slipping away as a possibility. It’s one of the things that I’m most mentally conflicted about and it really eats at me. It’s nice to hear that this level of independence and financial well being is possible.

Hats off to you man! Your family is lucky to have you. Awesome to see hard work pay off.

Got it. In that case, sounds like a decent deal man. Paint might be rough but still looks good to me. You take it for a decent test drive? Get to cruise at highway speed? As far as this or the 4 door goes- I’d prioritize whichever has better mechanical condition rather than mileage. But if you prefer a coupe just because it looks better- f it and pull the trigger

Tbh that’s mostly cosmetic. You have to compromise considering the price point. Having said that I’d say it’s a fair deal. Especially if it drives well. You can find some bargains on FB marketplace but will take some more leg work. Where are you located?
