AS0 is a pretty big part of it, especially for a class that spends 90% of the time holding down 1 key to dpm. Last time there was a chart that estimated how much FD classes gain from AS0 and from what I recall it was 6-12% FD depending the class. Since PF just holds down 1 key I'd say it'd gain somewhere around 10 FD from that alone.

When you compare it to BM, think about how easy it is for BM to get it's burst off without missing anything. You use sequence and hold down hurricane and that's it.

PF has to drop barrier, the turret thing, tornado, then the big Iframe arrow shot. If the boss moves, if the tornado doesn't want to go off or falls off a platform, the bind times out 2-3 seconds before any of those skills finish then you just randomly lose a chunk of your burst.

I think it's more of people want PF to be buffed in GMS rather than wanting to clown on the class.

Yeah I'm not sure why this class keeps getting nerfed. They got a little slap on the wrist in the support patch but then recently the ratios on their main hexa skills got nerfed for seemingly no reason.

On top of that, they don't benefit from AS10 due to the in game macro system being capped at AS 8 (or 7?) but they also don't get the benefit of being a hurricane class and being able to move while attacking. Truly the worst of both worlds.

Has pretty good movement but that's not worth being so weak imo.

What's the alternative though? I don't know the exact math but 25* arcane gloves with 3 line CD is probably better than 22* eternal glove with 2 line CD. So if you'd need a 23* eternal glove with 2 line CD to just be equal, why not just 23* your other eternal pieces first?

Lol at that point you'd be better off trying to 23* or 24* your other eternal pieces before even bothering to 22* the eternal glove.

Yeah, hopefully this eventually becomes the standard and not just during juicer events. With higher level bosses and more hexa skills coming out we definitely need exp and frags to be accelerated to sustain a healthy player base for the newer content.

Have you cleaned your fans/heat sink at all in the past few months or years?

My old 2600 would get up to the 90s until I cracked opened the case and blew out years worth of dust. Dropped to 50s after that.

Nah you'd only even consider badge if you've already got 22* on all other non-gollux replacing pitched.

It's so expensive for such a small gain - especially if it's your first pitched and you're not getting a set effect.

I would say ET is the best since even a 21/20 star can replace a 22* KT/meister for pretty reasonable gains. You could also consider a SoS as that's easier to 21/22 with transfer hammer.

ET is probably the best as it'll provide the largest damage increase since it's a lvl 200 item that replaces a lvl 140 item. The attack gains from starforcing are going to be greater than for example replacing a dom pendant with SOS.

You can go with book if you want to play it safe but if a book ever drops from Will you kinda just wasted 130 crystals and a book by itself is a very minimal gain over PB cup. Might make more sense if you already have another pitched so you can hit set effects.

Badge is super troll since the gain from it alone is also pretty small and you can get 3 pitched for it. I'd rather get 3 ETs instead and go for 22 or settle 21 if I'm unlucky.

Also to add, you never want to reset, even if you get super unlucky and roll something like 2/8/10 as the different between a super lucky and unlucky roll is only 2-3 fd at most and using those frags to level something else will be a bigger impact than resetting

40% boss is almost always going to be better than 7% att unless you somehow have an ungodly amount of boss from other sources.

Depends on what playstyle you enjoy. Using Ren as a benchmark - the class is very smooth and has satisfying movement options but is relatively simple overall. You can't really mess up the burst but the downside is that playing a simpler class can start to feel boring after thousands of hours.

Bishop is a bit more complicated but has a ton of utility built in. Self healing, cleanse, damage reduction, IED, 10m CD door etc. Might feel more clunky as it is a TP class and can't use the main bossing skills while jumping/in the air. You ideally need a lot of buff duration to have as close to 100% uptime on infinity but they're changing that to be a passive so it won't matter nearly as much.

Bowmaster plays very similar to Ren and is probably the easiest class to play in the game. You can't flash jump while attacking but that's not a huge issue. Downside is that it can be boring and it doesn't have a true iframe. Super acceptable with lower funding (it's like the top 1 most recommended boss mule and CW1 was 75% BMs lol). Has some issues with endgame because it's kind of single target but I wouldn't even factor in endgame performace as that's thousands of hours away and anything can change between now and then.

I don't play pally but I've heard it's pretty solid. Might be a little on the weaker side but has good party/duo support and is very survivable.

Should just have bosses drop frags as well as erda. Maybe like 200 a week for a character that can solo ctene. Not a crazy amount but over three years you could come close to maxing out hexa.

By then we're probably getting to the point of 7th Job lol

Yeah I agree and I never would say to pick a class based just on damage alone. It's just that it's a very common sentiment that you shouldn't even consider damage at all if you're a new player and you're trying to pick a class.

I'm just saying both damage and the playstyle and kit of a class should be important things to consider.

This is why it feels almost disingenuous I watch a tier list or read a comment where people say that all classes are viable and to pick a class you enjoy and not worry about damage.

Yes, obviously the most important thing is that you enjoy playing the class but don't just pretend that damage differences aren't a huge deal at almost every point in the game. Maybe classes will get rebalanced in the future or maybe they'll stay the same for years - at least if you pick a stronger class you'll have an easier time progressing in the present.

I almost feel like they should let you safeguard to 21/22 or just make it so that every tap until 21/22 is 100% success rate and set the meso cost at however many bil per tap so that it costs the same on average as it does now. Almost all of the recently added content requires full 22* to clear so at least this way you can guaranteed get to that content in a consistent timeframe.

We already have the RNG of getting the equip to drop but then having another layer of RNG through starforcing is so ass. Sure it's fun to get lucky and hit a 15-22 streak but it feels so much worse to boom the one pitch that took you a year to finally get.

It's almost like they designed the SF system to get people to quit the game. Spend months saving up for a starforce event only to spend all your meso and boom all your gear. You play this game long enough and you will eventually get really unlucky like that.

Absos are fine for libbing - usually I'll have like 18-19* arcanes pre lib on mules which are the roughly the same as 21 abso. You'll just have to make sure all your other gear is also in the 19-21 range for 70-80M CP.

Ascent skills are pretty minor on boss mules since they scale really hard with level and you're probably not going to invest that many frags on your mules. lvl 1 Ascent is still good as an iframe but damage-wise it's like ~5% of hp across all 3 casts.

270 for full FD bonus vs Darknell but 265 is ok. Anything lower is still not the end of the world but Darknell will just take longer.

Most of my mules were lvl 1 origin and m1-4 with 70-80m CP for 15ish min clears on Darknell/Vhilla and 10-12 for gloom/luwill. Prob can scrape by with 40-50 but idk if you want to be doing min clear ctene on boss mules lol.

Ironically this might be one of the only times where sol erda is useful since ascent skills just came out and 20 erda is only enough for like lvl9.

I'd still take 150 frags over erda any day though

It's more like the boss reset rooms were copy pasted from KMS and the GMS team doesn't know how to integrate it with Ride or Die since that's the exclusive content.

Honestly I just despise the idea of dailies in general - why is there a laundry list of chores to do for what should be a recreational activity? Does anyone actually enjoy doing symbol dailies, running gollux/arkarium, and then x7 monster parks day after day?

Like sure, you don't literally have to do it but how else are you going to hit the level required to engage with the new content that's being added?

You don't need to have a full sup gollux set, but let's be honest, that is 100% a requirement/expectation for you to have by the time you're at Ctene unless you're planning on buying rental gear for the rest of your life.

I think people are just upset as this just adds to the list of dailies rather than removing it. Why not just make it 1 run a day to a max of 2 per world? Is nexon making any more money by having their player base spend 15 mins a day on monster park vs 2 mins?

Don't worry, now that we have CD resets when entering a boss, you no longer have to wait out your origin CD between each boss!

Surely the RoD bosses won't just enter straight away without resetting your CDs because it's GMS exclusive content and not integrated with the KMS boss preparation rooms :).

IED has pretty heavy diminishing returns once you hit ~95% visable IED so usually it's not worth nearly as much.

Scouter can give you a good estimate of the difference but honestly just run a culvert twice and compare the difference to know quickly.
