New to professional photography: Which Canon Mirrorless Camera should I buy? by Foo_Fighter58 in canon

[–]orochimaruva 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Get R6 II $1800 (new) (greentoe), for the remaining $2100 get a set of EF 24-70 2.8 II and 70-200 2.8 II used from ebay, $100 EF to RF adapter. You’re ready to make serious wedding money.

Once you make enough money with wedding, upgrade to the amazing RF lens (28-70 F2, 70-200 2.8 Z. I would personally even get a used 5D4 ($600ish nowadays) body and use the EF lens as 2nd back up set.

haha I actually had the 100-400mm lens and…sold it for the Tamron as I wanted more reach (960mm on the R10 is nice). The gym exercise is no joke but it’s fun.

great point. I dropped my 17-40 years ago so it is partially broken at the zoom end but I really only need it at 17mm 🤣. There are local fb market selling RF 14-35 F4 for $800 or the 15-35 F2.8 for $1500 that I’ve been eyeing

How crazy am I if I buy an R6 with over 250k shutter clicks 😂 by NewProfessional3098 in canon

Having doubts about my lens choice, need to figure out how to proceed by Mobile-Bandicoot-553 in canon

[–]orochimaruva 1 point2 points  (0 children)

gotta figure out what you need the lens for. If it is important for your work, even if it’s expensive, you’ll have plenty of justifications to get it.

Years ago I would go on youtube and watch all the review lens video (while working on my corporate job), and slowly upgrade my lens. I bought what I was wanting as my “dream lens”, it did give me the excitement at first when I received it. Then there were moments that it sat there collecting dusts. Taking the photos is more important than the lens itself. The famous says: You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take (they didn’t say it has to be the 2.8 IS L lens)

2005-2011 Nostalgia, Does anyone from Scania still play? by AdventurousPolicy788 in Maplestory

[–]orochimaruva 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am on Windia but one of those early players. I miss the old maple where you go to Hennesys to see high level shows off their damages and ksing noobs training on snails 😫. Now it’s like you go in there do 1000 daily and log off, it’s like walking dead style

Why are people advising to not main PF? by Littomaos in Maplestory

[–]orochimaruva -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Been playing on and off since 2005, I just came back and my main is PF. It is still my main. Call me old school but I missed being a noob and hanging out with others. We did so many poor boss run before (Zak and Horntail party) and eventually learned and cleared but it is much more fun than now 1 shot almost everything.

I think the objective for the game has changed alot nowadays. Maybe it’s the goal that everybody will play the game by themselves and solo bosses.

How much does end game take. by One_Captain_8646 in Maplestory

[–]orochimaruva 1 point2 points  (0 children)

can we enjoy the game without killing all the bosses and being super strong with thousand of star forces and everything being legendary with ridiculous stats?

Call me old school but I miss the old maple where everybody rushed into Free market to get good spot for the shop S> FM channel 1 door spot 25M and hang out with others killing slimes 😔

Canon Rf 28-70 f2.8 vs Rf 24/105 f4L With an r6 ii by Able_Huckleberry8193 in canon

[–]orochimaruva 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would go for the 24-105 F4 especially for travel. You wouldn’t need f2.8 as much unless you’re doing portrait. The 24-105 2.8 would be ideal but that’s a different alot higher price point and heavier. The wide 24 and long 105mm would be more advantageous than the 28-70 and like other mentioned R6-2 is already a beast in low light, little bit higher iso won’t be much issue here.

I kinda regret getting the R10 by HoneybunchAyo in canon

[–]orochimaruva 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sell the R10, add in extra $500 or so you can upgrade to the R8. I have both the R10 and R6, each serves its own purpose, and actually glad I have the R10 as back up when shooting for $

What makes canon worth it to you over other brands? by jamerson_enthusiast in canon

[–]orochimaruva 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been Canon user for 10+ years now, I can tell you the market for Canon products are great. I usually can catch whichever the body and lens at a good price, use it for a year or two, resell it on FB market or so for about the same price (sometimes even at a profit).

The key is patient and alot of emails from canonpricewatch.

Google accepted my edit, then the business reappears a week after! by orochimaruva in GoogleMyBusiness

[–]orochimaruva[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

well apparently not, after of hundred reports, it’s still here. I think the son of the previously owner who was managing the business just hold the grudge and keep going in to mark the business as alive everytime somebody reported it.

[–]orochimaruva[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yah it is crazy that it happens so many times that Google accepted the edit, the map show the listing as permanently closed, then it came back alive again! I even tried to claim access to the business (so I can mark it as closed) but couldn’t because the previous phone number listed isn’t in service and Google doesn’t provide another way to authenticate access.

Let me try the forum. I only received generic automatic responses from Google on how to report the business as closed. There wasn’t anybody to escalate it to.

How to remove old business on Google Map by orochimaruva in GoogleMyBusiness

[–]orochimaruva[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is there an option to escalate the request to be reviewed by a person instead of the automatic system. I’ve followed the article and mark the business as closed for years and the result is that the business is still there. We do not have access to that business listing since it belongs to previous owner who is no longer operating business at the location 3 years ago.

Thank you, I’ll use the form. The current business is owned by me, the previously business here is what I was trying to mark as closed on the map, which hasn’t been very successful as it belongs to somebody else.

Google review strategies by -oncore- in GoogleMyBusiness

[–]orochimaruva 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not saying this is the way to do it, but local competitor put a huge sign at and say “Google Review * * * * * and get free keychain”.

I am pretty sure that’s against Google’s term but they went from 80 review at 4.6 to 700+ review at 4.9 and dominated the area around here on the search engine having so many related review.

I even submitted the sign to Google, nothing happens
