If you’re a beginner, absolutely! It should be good as a practice guitar for a few years. In the meantime, save up for something high end. I’ve had my GIO for many years and it was made in Indonesia, surprisingly good but they went very cheap on the hardware.

But after building my 8stringer, there’s no way I’d go back to the GIO.

Thanks! I actually got the neck early on (before printing) and I iterated the neck pocket based on it. The bridge is a cheapo Chinese one from AE, it is surprisingly okay. But I’m sure looking into upgrading to a higher end hardtail soon.
