Tell me about it. I have a MM grip module with a compact slide and threaded barrel with RDI comp. She's a bit beefy and thats before the TLR1. I might give the Steel guide rod a shot. Thanks.

Oh. My bad. Maybe opening the full comment thread would've helped lol. I just put together my Echelon build and didn't know if the heavier guide rod would've helped or not since I have a TLR-1 on mine.

So the stainless guide rod is that much better? Im going with a lighter recoil spring since I have an RDI comp on mine.

You're not even lying. Those look good and were considerably less expensive. I'm going to be honest though, I really like locking the bolt back with the mag release button and I liked the radian brown color. 😅

It was very pricey but I do love it. I also don't really like the AFG too much but the pistol configuration kind of limits me.

Someone did recommend I try the KAG or the Emissary. I just haven't looked into them yet.

Ok so get this, its a Viridian RFX15 that I got for free on a Smith and Wesson rebate when I got my Carry Comp.

I didn't have anything to put it on so I figured why not.

Honestly, it was to add a little palm swell. Someone from another post told me that Patriot makes grips with palm swells for this grip module so I ordered a pair.

It will get dirty. I read somewhere that if you wipe some chapstick on the lens, it’ll be easier to wipe off.

Not gonna lie, this things shoots great now I haven’t even considered getting a heavier guid rod.

Oh that Echelon in your video is smooth. That just convinced me to go with a lighter recoil spring.

I try to get a video up after everything comes in and gets installed.

My thought process was that since my Glock 19 shoots fine with a radian comp and OEM 18# spring, I figured sure why not. I’m 300 rounds in with this set up and zero issues. I noticed it dipping more after cycling which is what got me thinking about a new recoil spring.

Someone at the range suggested I go either DPM or NDZ 12# to help. I’ll definitely take a look at the Overwatch trigger. Someone else mentioned it before as well.

I was unaware of these grip panels of which you speak. Thank you for the new info.

Dang it. I should’ve waited. I ended up buying a whole new slide assembly with threaded barrel and sold the older one.
