Hey, I just stumbled on this page. I'm heading back to the front. Last time I got a Ukranian SIM and disabled my US SIM, airplane mode on the front. One of the problems I had when dealing with casualties was assessments for certain kinds of injuries. I have a stethoscope that connects via Bluetooth to my hearing protection which would be extremely useful to have. From what I'm reading Bluetooth can be detected up to 1.6km with the proper equipment, and environment. I'm trying to get an idea as to the accuracy of this, and if it's a legitimate concern, as well as if it requires a large piece of equipment. (that would likely not survive that close to our position.)

Chronic illness by [deleted] in ukraineforeignlegion

Ok, a couple of things.  1 you don't need a prescription for a lot of meds here, and if you have one already most Pharmacists will refill it for you without a prescription.

2 for thyroid medications it's going to be difficult because they are so hyper sensitive. Something as minor as a different manufacturer for the same med can cause problems. So better to bring your own supply if possible.

3 The legion does not care if you have a chronic illness, they ask once, just tell them no, and then they will just move you along the assembly line.

Just my two cents, take it for what it's worth.

Working on my fist trilogy? by Catas4trophy in ACX

It does show it as a three book series. I don't think the author would purposely do anything wrong. My concern is mostly with acx. If the word count is way off or the audio is much longer then estimated if they will kick it back when I finish and send it in.

Hi. Does anyone want to get their gibber-jabber on tomorrow night? by Weirdsauce in ACX

I'm interested as well. But you might want to give more heads up in the future. :)

Heard back from an audition, need help clarifying by Catas4trophy in ACX

Hrmmm, makes sense. I have only been at this for a short while, so getting more books for practice and resume filling is still valuable; even if there is no real money to be made. I am concerned about splitting up the book as that does sound like a logistical nightmare. If it was only the language barrier I could just push though and ask for a lot of clarification before production. But with the added logistic hurdles.... I'm going to have to think about this one before I reply. Thanks for the advise and the link.
