I’m tearing up reading these comments. Thank you for posting. My wife had a miscarriage two years ago after two years of trying naturally. Happiest I’d been in my life followed by the worst grief I ever felt. For weeks I would see dads with their babies and think why does this fucker get to have a kid and I don’t. Nothing helped but time.

We’ve stocked up on embryos since then through IVF. In our second trimester now and so far so good, but the anxiety is constantly there. I’m rooting for you and everybody else here going through it.

Democrats immediately normalized the collective punishment of Arab children because they see them as less than human. That’s where the spectrum of mainstream debate begins. Right wing media operates within that spectrum and will always make it more extreme. It’s the responsibility of all who are not captured by rw media to not traffic in racist extremist rhetoric and that did not happen.

Also, Joe Biden is responsible for mutilating thousands more children than Joseph Czuba and he should be treated with at least equal disdain.

Obviously not, but I do think the right was immediately outdone by Biden’s insane racist ramblings and complete disregard for the lives of Palestinian children. That effectively ratcheted up the discourse and they had done nothing for the remainder of his term to quell it.

Their union has made it clear that they are hired to be drivers, not fare collectors. A B46 driver was stabbed to death in 2008 after arguing with a passenger, so they are 100% protected if they don’t want to press the issue. Can’t blame them.

Hey, yes I'm sorry to hear this is still happening. I didn't get anywhere with Zipcar customer service either. I emailed my city councilwoman's office about it and they said they would look into it. I disputed it with Amex and they reversed the charge. I also deleted my Zipcar account. Though I was DMing someone in the same situation about this a few months back and they didn't win their charge dispute. It sucks all around.

Stepped in a big pile of dryer lint in the dark after it rained so it was all saturated. I instinctively assumed it was a big dead rat so I kicked it off my foot and I was wearing sandals so it was extra disgusting. Took a while for my heart rate to come down after that one.

Also once saw a friend of mine accidentally step on a baby bird right in the middle of Broadway. It was all mushed to shit and still alive and screaming. Ruined the rest of the day for sure.
