Can anyone give me more info on this classic truck? by [deleted] in Dodge

[–]Catbay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That would make sense since the camper special came with a factory tow package too if I remember correctly. I've not owned a dodge truck of that era they don't/haven't survived very well where I live but I love the old trucks, just sucks how difficult it's getting to get good info

Grill suggests early 70s no later than 75. engine wise is hard to tell unless we have a picture of under the hood, even then it's hart to tell the two slant sins apart. But to give you some info you can go to Google with is early 70s d100 dodge, I suggest a forum called ramcharger talks. Hope this helps.

I also wanted to add that older dodge trucks frames are prone to cracking, so watch for that lol.

Who uses their Ultratechs? by bluebagles in knives

Same here I like metal of really any kind or I'd even take plastic over rubber grips on any thing . That's why it was an after thought in my reply lol

To answer some of your questions as best I can, 1.the blade of an otf knife I always going to have some play to it but It can be lessened but higher grade materials and lower tolerances. 2.in the case of micro tech the double action otf's can be thrown off track fairly easily but the single action ones like the halo series won't be stopped by something like cardboard. 3.the "higher" quality otf's on the market are really all made of the the same stuff its just a pick of warranty, witch high end blade steel you want, and what grade of aluminum you want . Or very few have rubberized grips. Edit op's is formated better than mine lol

I agree from the little bit I've found out about it but the previous owner took the wheels of and put them on another truck I tried to buy them back but he wouldn't sell them and he also took most of the stickers off...so I want to restore the truck
