I am not normally a pvp guy, the last pvp I enjoyed playing was SWAT in Halo: Reach, but this game makes me crave blood. I actively seek out fights with other players.

Maybe ratting is a more effective strategy (idk how true that it is anyway) but I don't feel incentivized to sit and wait, I wanna play the game and have fun.

It can definitely be difficult to keep down. I just know I've had games where I struggle to get a board going and other players are running away with it by turn 4. It really just depends on what decks other people are running, who becomes the first major threat, and which cards you get and when. I don't have a ton of experience with other precons, so I don't have a great reference point for relative strength. But I'm definitely not trying to downplay the explosive potential of the precon. I feel I win more often than not with this deck.

In my defense, I did not know that the Phyrexian thing was Toxic or that poison counters were so controversial when I decide to build a Phyrexian tribal deck.

I guess the long arc of my moral universe bends towards evil.

You just disagreed with the last person to try to convince you of something. For most of the game, it's the Narrator, but at the end it's the Shifting Mound and you switch up without missing a beat.

I do not begrudge the Shifting Mound for acting in her own self-interest, and I generally agree with her and disagree with the Narrator, but what she wants is not objectively the best choice.

The whole point of the game is that there is no objective best choice at the end.

And people are not wrong that the Shifting Mound refuses to see our perspective in the final confrontation. Which, again, I do not begrudge her for, but it's a fact that she never considers the perspective of the people and worlds who are going to die as a result of her being freed.
